A slow beat down. Accumulation. Efe needs another year or so.

The Ref in the Ajagba fight should be struck off. Atrocious. What a pudendum.

I'd rather Sanchez vs Jermaine Franklin in such a match.

Decent effort from Ajagba. Nothing spectacular, but he dominated Cojanu pretty handily. He's a powerful guy, but stiff, and not too terribly hard to hit. He'll have a lot of difficulty when he's fighting more offensively capable contenders. The stiffs he's been getting so far have been easy work for him. When he gets to fighting the upper echelon guys, it's gonna get rough for him.

Ajagba vs Breazeale sometime later this year would be an interesting test for both guys. We know Breazeale is no Champion, but he could make for an interesting crossroads type opponent like that. If he intends to keep fighting that is.

They need a better matchmaker.
Then again, not all fights can be like Holyfield-Bowe.

But, fingers crossed for the main-event. Since well, came in during the 7th. And Im happy that I did form what the comments are saying.

Does this Helenius have a shot? Thinking of throwing away a yard and taking him...

If I'm Ajagba's manager I think I'd wanna match him against a guy that throws a lot of punches, but isn't particularly powerful. Someone that would give him an interesting test as far as having to work on his defense, but probably wouldn't KO him should he get caught.

Hell maybe Dawjeko lol. I know he wasn't exactly setting the world on fire against Sanchez, but he might be the right kinda guy for Ajagba to work on what he needs to work on right now without exposing him to too much danger.

Agree!! Efe won just about every round but the more I see him fight, the more I believe his punching power is NOT what we thought at first. Cojanu doesnt have a very good chin so Ajagba should have stopped him in 5-6 rounds

Joey doesn't throw enough. I agree with you though. Efe looked a bit lost at times when Coj was getting aggressive.

On second thought maybe a Chris Arreola would be better.

There ya go. Takam. Perfect opponent for him at the moment to see

A) If he's progressed

B) What he needs to work on

and C) To be forced to work on the stuff he needs to work on because he'll be faced with an opponent who's giving him difficulty.

Great call on Takam. This is the guy they should be matching him with soon if possible.

Good points, however I wouldn't be running to my tv again to see a dawejko fight..don't think he deserves one either

You can tell Adam is a real New Yorker now. He displayed his NYC accent in that mini-interview with Heidi Androl.
