I’m pretty sure he didn’t make $1.1m. FW would have likely paid him a good chunk less to get it on his network and get the fight in Leeds.
I don’t how purse bids work then. I know that Frank was paying Josh minimum $1m for his defenses.
You do know how purse bids work, but if a promoter is with the defending champion then in order to ensure a fight lands with him that is a tough purse bid to win then he can come to an agreement with the defending champ (who he represents) that says ok mate, you want the fight on my show I want the fight on my show, in order to give me the best chance of winning the bid will you agree to take a few hundred grand less than what I win the bid for?

I’m pretty sure that when you bid with IBF you have to pay for the privilege so if Eddie knows that Josh isn’t going to take the fight (which he clearly wasn’t) then why bid?!
It’s probably worked out well for Eddie, give it 6 months and he’ll talking about unifications!

Warrington summed that up well. He knows full well he's 'just' a local ticket seller and that's where his value is (or isn't at the moment with empty venues). He's not a ppv fighter and probably never will be. So, in short, the money he is used to simply isn't there.
No point making fornicate all fighting Barry Awad again. It's too much of a risk given there's no real upside. There's probably no point fighting Lara either IMO. A training injury would be handy and wait things out until tickets can be sold properly again.

You score a fight, round by round. Punch stats should never be used to score rounds or help score them either.
