Why on earth would any promoter want anything to do with Saunders now.
He has zero fanbase, is unreliable, sustained a potentially career ending injury in his last fight, and is seemingly a nightmare to deal with, oh and he's 34, inactive, and has a style predicated on being sharp, evasive and utilising his reflexes and footwork to avoid shots and counter.
It's really quite a shite proposition.

I agree especially after he leaked a recording of a private conversation with Shalom

Fast car needs to find acceptable opponents for his Daz champs.
Daz will be happy so the show gets put on, Eddie puts his quota of shows, Saunders gets a shot, the champ gets a win

Dull to watch, barely fights, failed drug test, has done some disgusting things out of the ring, and cant think really who he would fight of interest?
Couldnt be less interested in him.

It is all bit meh, but there are a couple of fights the majority of us would watch and discuss.
Eubank Jr rematch......
How about Connor Benn? They have both said they want to fight on for their armies of fans.

That has to be what they are aiming at, couple of cash out fights.
Benn first, as he's the naturally smaller man, then maybe a final fight with Eubank, - maybe Kell Brook>?

“It’s always been on his mind. I think the time away from the sport has made him realise he misses it and loves it. I think he feels like if it’s not before the end of this year, it’s probably not going to happen.”
“So he’s put his foot on the pedal, trying to work off some of the weight he’s put on his semi retirement. So he”s working away, step by step.”
“He does boxing for the love of it. He actually misses the sport and it’s looking like he is committed to a comeback.”
“I think the goal will be to get down to 168, for sure. But for his first fight, let’s see. His weight has come down a fair bit, he just needs to stay consistent to get it down to where we would all like it to be.”

I'm not BJS biggest fan, but if he could get active he would be a good contender for a title providing he was motivated

Was there ever an opponent that pissed you off? Alvarez didn’t hesitate to name the offender.
“Billy Joe Saunders,” he said. “That fornicator pissed me off. That’s why he gets what he deserves.”
“Some fighters, they talk to sell the fight or themselves,” Alvarez said. “But I think he’s a bad person, and I really enjoyed to beat that guy.”
Billy Joe Saunders is “definitely” going to fight again – and has held talks regarding a rematch with Chris Eubank Jnr.
The 35 year old has not fought since May 2021, when he was stopped in eight rounds by Saul “Canelo” Alvarez having suffered a fractured eye socket.
He has since been seen looking considerably over the middleweight and super-middleweight limits he was once established at, and for all that he has become a peripheral figure insists that he is ready to fight again.
“I used to think to myself when I was in the game, ‘Oh, I can’t wait to get out of the game’”, he told talkSPORT. “I thought, ‘I can’t wait to do what I’ve got to do – have these big nights and then get out of it.’ But when you are out of it, you’re never out of it in your mind.
“It’s never out of my mind every day that goes past. So I’ve clearly got something to get out somewhere and I’ll be honest, I would like to go out on a win.
“If I am gonna go, ‘Right that’s enough’, then I would like to go out on a win. It’s been, what? Three years? But it’s one of them where I’m always down [trainer] Ben Davison’s gym. I always pop in; watch the lads spar; go and do a little session.
“It’s always itchy knuckles and I just need really to blow the cobwebs off and get it out of my system.
“Most definitely, 100 per cent .”
During the time Saunders has been inactive, Eubank Jnr, 34, has fought four times and will fight again in October, against Kamil Szeremeta. They previously fought in 2014, when at middleweight Saunders won via split decision.
“I was in heavy talks with Eubank’s manager a few weeks ago,” Saunders continued. “Heavy talks.
“I’ve actually got a lawyer at the moment just going through a few bits. But I obviously need to get myself motivated to get a comeback fight and then build in to that big night.
“Obviously it’s also for the fans to see because I believe if you take out the heavyweights and the domestic British level, it don’t get much bigger than myself and Eubank.
“We’ve had it before and there’s loads of water that’s gone underneath the bridge. It’s no secret that I don’t like him on a personal note and he doesn’t like me on a personal note.
“It’s just how it is. We don’t really get on. And I think the fans will enjoy the build-up and enjoy the fight.”

He's never coming back.
Unless he's skint I can't see it either and I believe he has millions in property
