Tyson hasn't retired 5 times like I said.

I was just reminded about his retirement announcement in 2013 after the David Haye non fight.

I'm not quite agreeing with that statement. You have to look at eras and quality. Prime Mike T would have stopped Fury inside 3. Lennox Lewis would have beaten Fury quite easily. Touch and go imo with Bruno, but I go with my gut and say Bruno would have beaten Fury, it's debatable how he would have beaten him.

Ali imo would have danced around Fury and beaten him Richard Dunn fashion.

Tommy Morrison would have sparked Fury, Ray Mercer would have done the same. Big Riddock Bowel would have knocked Fury out.

Prime Herbie Hide would have given Fury problems, though not sure if Hide could have gone 12 rounds.

I think Tim Witherspoon was better than Fury too.

Gary Mason? I need to think about that one.

I really cannot see the argument in any way to see Fury ahead of Klitschsko?

1 - Resume and Longeivty - Klitschsko every time.
2 - Ah but Fury beat Klitschsko. Yes in a close fight (hey if FW can say Fury vs Usyk was close) then absolutely Fury vs Klitschsko was razor close, Klitshcsko was over the hill (as shown also in prior performances) and Fury shat out of a rematch.

Now you could, with massive rose tinted glasses, argue that Fury's resume is better than Vitali's - but I would be pretty confident that Vitali would have had Fury for Breakfast in his pomp.

Shouldn't this mean EVERY track and field record be bettered cycley every 10 years, about the span of an elite track and fielder.

mason is cool but fought way too many stiffs, how do you even begin to know what his level really was when he goes from pretty much all cans to len lewis? what recognizable names he did beat were past their best too

from an eye test, he looked heavy handed but rather ponderous and basic, a bit like a lesser bruno

People on this forum always get caught up in the hype. I myself was ready to throw David Price in with Vitali after he flattened Audley, so I'm hardly in a position to judge. But trying to point out the limitations of the likes of Joshua, Fury and Wilder when they were undefeated was truly an uphill struggle.

That’s hilarious. Training at Total Fitness and also not even doing a half rep. That man knows nothing about training. He looks like a flabby sausage.

If you are going to consult a PED specialist I don’t even think he knows what he’s doing there as so many of his fighters get caught.

If you are in boxing you might as well go to the South Yorkshire trainer who has competed in ‘natural’ bodybuilding which basically means you know how to mask PEDS and use lighter compound anabolic and peptides and sarms. And even that person has popped for Pringles for his fighters.

I just don’t see how you can watch that fight a think conclusively Ali would beat fury.

Ali was 216lb beating Forman who was 220lb..

There is no real way of knowing but to watch him beat a cruiserweight sized bloke best known for his plodding and say it’s conclusive he would have smashed fury seems a stretch.

My question is where does Ali beat fury? I’m not a huge boxing historian, but what I have seen I just don’t really know where Ali beats fury so conclusively that it’s not even a question…
