For Hegseth, maybe 10-15% chance, although even then I doubt it as most of the centrist Republicans who might have gone for it are gonna be gone.
The only thing standing in the way of Trump and impeachment is Todd Blanche. As soon as the Dems take over the Judical committee, Epstein is going to be the focus. Blanche is the only thing stopping the truth from coming out. And if the dam bursts and there's lots of pictures of Trump with young girls and testimony that he raped them, then I think not even the Republican holdouts will stand for him. Given the political headwind, I think they'll be more than happy to throw him under the bus and let JD Vance get two years job training as president in a lead up to 2028 than sticking with the demented old nappy crapping Trump.

But Todd Blanche is a hell of an opponent. Pure evil.

I suspect Rubio will be the 2028 Republican choice for President.

Good. Weak sauce and completely stained in Trump's diaper juice. Not a chance against Newsom or Oshoff.

Personally I'm expecting some rich idiot coming in and saying "I'm the nice face of capitalism and I had nothing to do with Trump". Someone like Bloomberg. Anyone associated with Trump has got a hell of a lot of baggage.

Trump voters don’t care about the Epstein files or anything like that, but a lot of them have seen their lives get demonstrably worse over the last couple of years due to his very poor decisions. People will let you get away with nearly anything as a politician, as long as it doesn’t make them worse off financially.

The Dems won Texas

If that continues in the next National Election. The Republican party is doomed for the foreseeable future.

And in Louisiana where they outspent the Democrats by what to had to have been millions based on all the ads I saw. They only won by a slim margin.

Bloomberg is 85, he may well be dead or demented by next cycle.

I think Rubio, Vance, Hegseth and the other major figures are all pretty screwed.

Well that's quite a shock. Apparently, from what i've read, Twumpy was doing amazing things, making America great again etc etc....yet the American people have voted overwhelmingly to take away the decision making and power from him. :maybe:

Twumpy will be looking for a fall guy to blame for Iran and the thick pudendum, Hegseth, was always in place to be that guy.

Yeah, he will be thrown in the dumpster in pretty short order I'd imagine.

Some of the appointments to the cabinet this time around, really do beggar belief, people selected who are knowingly incompetent and indeed unstable. Hegseth, Patel, RFK JR.

I reckon America is doomed in general, Trump was the last stand against the islamification of your nation, he'll be gone in a couple of years and you'll have guys with names like El-sayed and Mamdani running your country from the highest offices, good luck with it :TU:

It will probably be a giant mosque by this time next year, or perhaps a new holy site like Mecca.

Trump if anything seems to have ushered in the Islamification of the Nation. They weren't in Politics in nearly the number they are now until he came along.

I figure Modern technology and lack of social interaction has people all over the world heading in an odd direction as far as Human Evolution is concerned or perhaps Devolution, but a President who makes himself richer with blatant insider trading while in office while making everyone else poorer by installing tariffs that raise the cost of everything from Gas to Bread to Steel to anything else you can name.

If Trump was the last hope then we had no hope at all. He was and is a joke. I could sh*t a better President.

Jihadi Mickey. I see it.

And instead of the magic castle, they’ll have an Islamic minaret blaring out prayers five times a day

Well I mean Walt Disney was a fan of Adolf, and Adolf did hate the Jews and Jihadis hate the Jews and Germans seem to be out of the jew hating game these days. At least on a large scale anyway.
