DG, my last post on this subject. Hatton, when he beat Tszyu got into the P4P list - that was a given really when Tszyu was in the top five. Since then, he's took all new champions and unified most belts (in retrospect Urango and Maussa) weren't really up to scratch, but wins against Malignaggi, Castillo and Collazo have all compensated for those opponents. Hatton probably hasn't moved up the list too much since Tszyu, but even with defeat to Mayweather, he wouldn't have moved down too much because Mayweather is a phenomenon. I wouldn't have Ricky too high but I would have him top ten on my P4P list, no doubt. Furthermore, if he beats the number one, who's natural weight division is now close to 140lbs, then that will catapult him to first.
If Hatton did beat Pacquiao who on God's green Earth would you have as number one? Marquez, Calzaghe (who will probably retire), Margarito or Vasquez? If Hatton beats Pacquiao then for me, he'll have earned P4P#1, on my list anyways.
Happy hunting, ciao.
