I simply don't think that's the case Stu - I genuinely can't envisage a scenario where Fury suddenly starts developing KO power. Struggling to think of a single example at heavyweight where that's happened...

I'm not talking about his stamina or anything, of course that can be improved.

What i'm dubious about is whether he'll gain much more power, and if not, he certainly won't box his way to a world titile.

Improving his technique and his stamina will improve his power, also, so he didnt KO John Mcdermott in what is his 8th pro fight, with all other 7 being KO's... , hardly the end of the world. Big bad john only been KO'd once, and that was ebing caught cold by the bedford bear.

Don't believe it's the end of the world, far from it. Just on the fence to regards to whether he can improve himself enough in that department, time will tell.

I aint saying he's going to be a chilling one punch KO artist - but his power will improve as he gets stronger. McDermmott looked the STRONGER fighter, I don't think that will be the case say 5 years down the line - depending on Fury's training.

For me, Lewis got more powerful in his late twenties, early 30's, Ali could hold his own in trade off's with the big punchers in his 30's - something I don't think he would have done in his early twenties. Danny Williams from 2001 seemed to score more quick Ko's (against better opposition) than before that.

it takes a lot of muscles to smile actually Oliver...a lot more than it does to frown. But I could have that the wrong way round.. :DDD

Well it was more the prancing about, but even so.... it was the smiling which was showing to me he was very nervous. Of course smiling doesn't expand energy itself, but if its a camoflague for nerves - then energy is being expanded.
