It was a massive issue with young voters too. I believe it was young liberal activists who originally coined the name Genocide Joe. TikTok had very quickly become the most popular social media app in the world, and young Americans were witnessing in real time the genocide through live streams from Palestinians.
Its around that period when a lot of fear mongering around China also amplified. Chinese spyware hysteria, the forced sale of tiktok, the huawei ban.... that "spy balloon" over Alaska they sent a fighter jet to shoot down

I think there is a logic mistake thinking that any US president or any head of state of any other nation was going to affect the Israeli response to the Hamas attack. Israel has been dehumanizing Palestinians for decades. There was only one thing that was going to happen, and that was not an eye for an eye, but a 100 eyes for an eye. To blame Biden for that, or to give him the exaggerated moniker, is simply over-dramatic.
