I always take it as a good sign if an opponenet looks angry pre fight. I like it when fighters throw the opponenet off their usual game. Being angry can hinder a fighter massively.

I don't think he was angry I just think he is fed up of the build up he wanted to bounce after the weigh in !

I'd quite like to see it happen immediately after a weigh in. Both good to go just get on with it lads.

I have to say, Brook has looked puffy faced and soft for weeks but looked decent at the weigh in. Sharper than I thought would be likely.

Now I wouldn't expect him to say that GGG is feeling poor, but I do think there's a good chance that some people are looking for a glimmer of hope and have therefore focused too much on it. He notes that GGG is more serious because he's in enemy territory, and I think that's at least consistent with his mood at the weigh-in.

yeah always back the guy that comes down to his fighting weight not the guy who has to put it on, kells gone past his best fighting weight IMO

I would agree with that point 99 times out of a hundred but I honestly don't think it would make a blind bit of difference in this scenario. Can't see anything other than brook going to sleep

You know what if Brook weigh'd in at say maybe 153-156 I would have been like okay this guy really wants to out box him and move around currently I think him coming in just under 160 means he wants to have a tear up !

Most of them look guant at the weigh in. Majority of fighters manipulate the scales nowadays. I d be more worried that brooks not gaunt at the weigh in. Manipulating them scales for a reason. If it didnt give you the advantage they wouldnt all be doing it.

I wouldn't read much into that but it could be a factor come 10.30pm tomorrow and he is still feeling a bit off !

Unless there is something wrong with GGG - as some are speculating - he will make this an early night.

Can't imagine why, with his standing, experience and fighting away from home he'd step into the ring anything other than close to 100%. Could understand if this was "his big chance at the big time" or if he was fighting in front of his home crowd. But just don't see him fighting if he was too sick to even speak to anyone the day before. Have to be pretty sick to not be able to face talking to anyone 24hrs before!

I think 154 would be Brooks best weight to be honest.

You may have 345 wins from 350 amateur fights, and became undisputed MW champion with the highest KO percentage in MW history .... BUT... If you got in the ring with a diarrhoea bug and shit your pants that's all you'd be remembered for!

If, big if, there is anything wrong with him it'd be very very minor. He did a public workout 3 days ago. Certainly nothing that'd attribute to weight loss. Always comes in around 159 doesn't he.

154 is good, I don't understand the whole 147 debate he was going to get to that weight if he wanted to unify he can make the weight he just can't do it in a healthy manner !

I don't think that is the case mate GGG has just got bombarded with media since Sunday he isn't used to this much media commitment

SKY have just used this as a stunt to boost some extra sales, smart marketing to be fair haha !

There's pics of him with HBO and Hopkins a few hou after the weigh in smiling he is fine.
