GGG drained ?

Post by kbackup408 »

I was watching the final presser today and I'm probably over reacting but did Golovkin look drained ?

He might be but he was only 165 30 days ago so I doubt if he's struggling with the weight

Most fighters look a little gaunt in the days prior to a weigh in. Any pics?

Yeah he looked very pale I know GGG is quote on quote a beast but I think he should have been here last week leaving it to only 6 days might be a slight risk

still think GGG will KO Brook

Personal opinion I thought he looked absolutely fine and to some extent I thought Brook looked like he peaked at the Covent Garden workout and thought today he looked on the way down, it's all opinions though and I hope that mine is incorrect and you guys are correct

Well yeah he isn't looking horrible or super depleted he just looks very tired just based my judgement on the presser

I've seen guys look a lot worse prior to weigh ins. He'll look a lot different on Saturday. Probably having put back on about 10 pounds or so, and feeling good.

I'm thinking Brook will be a Light Heavyweight come Fight Night. Somewhere between 173-176

Yes that sound right, basically his walking around weight I mean a basic acid test would be if in R1 GGG throws a body punch and how he reacts, if he can't carry that weight it will show !

Its easy to see he's coming in on his weight, most fighters look like this a day or so before the fight. On the flip side Brook looks the complete opposite. I find it hard to buy into all the weight chit chat coming from team Brook.

Yeah I think Dominic Ingle went a bit over the top when he was trying to say weight isn't an issue, getting slightly bored with all these pressers and interviews looking forward to the weigh in @ the Indigo tomorrow !

Said it before but Brooks looks very puffy faced. Cash out fight.

I am going to bet big on this one, this is as easy money as the Mayweather Hatton fight

You reckon GGG came in lower due to flight across the Atlantic and what it can do to the body plus being jet lagged etc.

Noticeable difference but he will be stripping to 160 like Kell does to 147 he looks the same.

Hopefully he is so Brook can win.

If Brook peaked at the press workout, then all his amazing facilities and sport scientist's Dominic Ingle has been banging on about is going to look a bit silly
