Yeah but boxing rocks was saying those two specific fights were boring, and i dont think they were.

Also quite often the more technical boxers who are defensively minded, tend to be more boring to watch, its just the way it is.

Thats a little bit of a manipulation of what i said. I said that both him and DAZN wanted that fight and Golovkin chose Rolls instead.

That has nothing to do with his Andrade's career overall.

Nondescript wrote: 27 Jun 2019, 15:56 Yeah but you're a big Golovkin fan and Andrade is one of his rivals in the middleweight division and has said some negative things about Gennady, so i dont know how much of your dislike of him is due to that.

I dont remember many people being critical of the Nelson and Rose performances. Culcay and some others, for sure, but not those particular two.
I may not remember those fights well. At that time, Andrade wasn't a guy talking about Golovkin. He was rather a guy who ducked Korobov. He was also not going after Lara, Charlos, Hurd or any other top JMW.

my post you responded to was about andrades career overall though, total junk opposition. ggg would just be one possibility at one point in time, but andrades been a pro 11 years and for like 30 fights and sulecki might seriously be his best opponent lol

charlo withdrew for a mandated fight vs charlo to face culcay too

Sulecki is easy to hit and doesn't have the best chin. He'll also be pressuring. If there is anyone to make him look good, this is it.

He was supposed to fight BJS as you yourself mentioned and BJS failed a drug test. Not much Andrade can do about that.

I also remember him turning up to one of the Charlo brothers press conferences and calling him out to fight.

lmao who cares if he went to a press conference, when the fight was ordered he pulled out to fight culcay, what credibility does his mouth have when he does stuff like that

boring in the ring and boring ass career

hes good though and should beat sulecki, possibly his best ever opponent, without trouvle

"That fight was made without even talking to us," said Paul Andrade. "I have no objection to the fight but what we have objections to is that they didn't want to pay us any money to fight.

"I mean, $250,000 for Charlo is ridiculous. That's what they offered, but we did not ask to make the fight or look to make the fight. We waited until the last minute for them to come back with a better offer but it just didn't happen."

"We're an undefeated fighter, we're the only titleholder on that card. I feel like all of the fighters on the card are getting well-compensated for their fights, but everybody else is getting big figures and we're going to be paid the least.

"It's not like we said we're going to fight this guy for this amount of money and then we pulled out of it. We never even saw a contract, and we weren't going to sign a contract for that little bit of money... We're not trying to be a Prima Donna where we're asking for ridiculous money, but I know that we're worth more than $250,000. We just feel that we should be fairly compensated for the fight."

his purse offer was increased, it was a career high, and he pulled out instead to wait around for over a year making no money only to fight jack culcay next. kinda a strange fighter to be an advocate for

Andrade (27-0 17KOs) weighed 159.9 pounds for the second defense of the middleweight title he claimed just eight months ago. Sulecki (28-1, 11KOs) checked in at 159.5 pounds for his first career title fight.

How do you pronounce "Andrade" name in USA? In Poland I hear "andrade" and "undrayd" (try Google Translate with "English" language to hear what I mean). Both seem to be equally popular. Which is correct?
