That wasn't directed at anyone who would pick Fury over Ali. It was directed at whoever said Ali is on the Chisora/Parker level. I'll try to be nicer: that opinion is beyond absurd.

Ali did get knocked down when he was still quite young by a very good puncher. He did get up and the torn glove I think was just a few extra seconds.

Ali was way too fast and skilled for Wilder. Fury would have been a tougher nut to crack, but I think he would have eventually cracked it. Ali's skills and hand and foot speed would have made everyone else look silly.

Fury stunned himself with his own uppercut a few years back.

A. He was not "shell shocked" againt Cooper in 1963.
B. He was better in 1967.
C. That's right, none of the heavyweights in this phenomenal era that we are in would have a chance against Ali.

Take a look at how Fury has fared against far weaker competition when he fought someone close to Ali's size.
