It’s not a good look for me seeing Eubank Jr calling out someone who’s retired. Also Brook fought 11 lbs lower than Eubank in his last fight. He’s also spoken about fighting Benn (a 147) and Liam Smith (a 154). Can’t Eubank call someone out his own weight?

No he can't!
He can't call out anyone with a belt at his weight because he will get his arse handed to him.
Heck, Zerafa would probably hand it to him. It's been 4 years since his best performance - losing to George Groves

I'd laugh if Brook took the fight and battered jr.

 Oh mate!
Wouldn't that be peachy.
Not sure Brook has it in him even if he did take the fight. Hence Eubank calling him out.
Sure he looked good against Khan, but that was as close to the ghost of Khan you can get without being able to pass through solid walls.

Embarrassing from Eubank. Chasing old retired welters rather than contenders in his own weight class. Genuinely embarrassing.

I bet Eubank’s next fight is a shitty opponent outside of the top 10

He also said nobody sells tickets like him, especially in the UK. The whole interview was delusional.

Eubank wants to have the cherry picked celebrity fights the likes of the ODLH, Mayweather etc had at the end of their careers.
But he hasn't achieved anything that qualifies himself to do so .. he has lost the biggest tests of his career .. and those tests were a few levels down from anything too significant.

Embarrassing. Kelly’s got good people around him & doesn’t live a flash lifestyle.

Eubank’s at the opening of anything & constantly wanting to be around other celebrities & boasting about his holidays & cars on social media.

If one of them runs out of money my guess is it won’t be Brook.

Real retirment? or genius negotiating... I think its a real retirment, but showing your willing to walk away to have Eubank swing things your way a bit more... never know.

Why on earth disrespect one of the best to come out of your country in recent times, who was three weights lighter than you?

A Southern area standard boxer asking a former World Champion to come out of retirement to fight him!?

Lunacy.

So true :TU:
George Groves showed us exactly where Eubank Jr was at. A proven guy was our George, and even one armed in the final stages, he held this dipstick off. And really, has Chris Eubank Jr performed that well since?
I don't think he has.
I think his team and managers know this, hence his lack of baubles at MW.

Eubank under RJJ has certainly regressed a lot and he was'nt the best to start with

But he had relentless volume and a chin.
It made up for a lot. Sure it couldn't be maintained too far into his 30's.
But yes, I agree he has regressed under RJJ. If only he could use a bit of what Roy has taught him, and maintained the volume.

Yep i agree he was never going to be a great boxer but a good fighter was always on the cards for him i thought he was quite good and mixing at a good level comfortable for a guy with his ltd experience , but something went wrong and not listening to trainers was probably the first thing , then hooking up with RJJ was his next problem

RRJ is probably a good example of good fighters not always making good trainers ,, he tries to teach Eubank to be like he was , and there was only one of him . ,,, and ting is for a guy like RJJ not to relize you teach boxers to fight to the best of there ability not your own makes me say Eubank is only capable now of beating smaller guys , he's regressed not progressed

Absolutely.

Calling out someone from below your weight class is a complete no-no.

Why do the promoters keep bringing this up, does anyone want to see this? Kell is a career welter with broken eyes who's been retired for two years. They've mentioned Janibek for the WBO and IBF and Oliha for the IBO, both good trade fights, but they keep trying to flog this? It's scandalous. I like Kalle but fornicating hell

Name value isn't it, nothing more.
