And the negative side effects are generally not a major sacrifice to your health like many other PEDs.
that's what I found, and observed. I am speaking through my own lens of experience and usage, having used very harsh compounds so creatine was always comparatively cuddle and side-free. Entirely so for me with creatine.
if you want terrible sides, run:
3 gram of injectibles a week,
including a gram of tren to give you permanent sweats and paranoia (it was designed for pigs to bulk them, but you won't oink at least)
500mg of masteron to make your hair recede like it has a phobia of your forehead
500 mg of halotestin to ensure you have acne even on your shins
500 mg of deca to make your penis stop working
and 500 mg of equipoise (designed to add muscle to racing horses, and helps you retain muscle well if you're cutting for a weight class - as I was - albeit in a different sport)
sorted.
Who on earth advised you to take all that? I’ve got mates within strongman and powerlifting who are around the top level and don’t take even a fraction of all that.
No wonder you have had bad side effects, those are ridiculous amounts to put in your body. I hope you won something after all of that
I'm not questioning your mates but what they say they take and what they do take are usually some considerable distance apart.
I used to tell everyone I never went above a gram a week. (NEARLY) EVERYONE in strongman is lying about their gear usage if they claim they do not use huge dosages. I say nearly - the only trio I know/knew who used little/nothing were Paul Smith (current competitor), Mark Felix and Ben Kelsey a few years ago.
My good mate did Worlds Strongest Junior the year Tom Stoltman won it (2015 iirc) and even at junior level they were on insane dosages. He came 7th and won the first event for his sins and the cycle nearly killed him.
If you hear a strongman tell you he does not use masses, he is either:
a) lying,
b) lying, or
c) lying
As for me? I came 3rd in a few comps, got a 2nd on a dodgy countback (I think I came 3rd but the ref's maths was as bad as I was at strongman) and generally epically mediocre placings like 7th our of 17, or 9th out of 33. I once came 7th out of 8 (in my strongman debut) and the only reason I beat 8th place was he was on nights and went home before the stones. I only just beat him with the last event as well. Destined for greatness.
I'm not one of those bitter losers who says everyone's on loads cos I took loads and was rubbish. I know as I either sold them it, their base compounds or know who they bought it from. They'd have been much better than me on Ribena, I've no axe to grind.
On a funny note, they got the trophies wrong for one of my 3rd places once so gave me the 1st place for the lightweight women's class as no lightweight women entered. So technically I did win and was the strongest lightweight strongwoman in the Melton Mowbray area circa 2015.
The wife took the trophy in the divorce....
In terms of sides, exactly - all justly deserved - stick that in your body, you're asking for trouble.
I am not talking about powerlifting btw, only strongman. I always found powerlifting to be so cliquey, I did a few comps but just found it weird. I think I did BPU and GPU/C iirc, it was so so cliquey and everyone seemed to have a random British record that only they were eligible for. '1-legged raw equiped single-ply 37 year old called Steve class', and so on.
