The police, government and the media didn't blame the fans for Valley Parade, they did for Hillsborough. They fucked up and then lied and made up stories that were proven to be false and the only people who pickpocketed the dead on that day were South Yorkshire police officers.
Thanks babjo,i was about to write an S A as to why Hillsborough is different to bradford and you have hit the nail on the head. What gets me is that people from outside of Liverpool or LFC say the same things "Liverpudlians play the badly done to card and wallow is self pity" well please someone tell me how long they would take to clear a dead family members name that had been dragged through the mud? By the sounds of most non scousers they wouldnt fight that long to clear any family members name which is sad. Anne williams died still fighting to clear her sons name after nearly 30 years thats hiw long a parent from liverpool fights to clear a name Margaret Thatcher, the south yorkshire police and the F.A hid the truth and the scum printed lies about the fans that were doing the job the police and ambulance service should of been doing, dont slate them praise them for sticking with it while greaving for a lost loved one or a lost friend.

Bradford was a disaster but it wasnt a lie
I disagree, if this had happened to any other club their people would be fighting just as hard for the same, but because it's never happened to them they just think Liverpool fans were milking it. I suppose they think the families of the Bloody Sunday victims were milking it too and they took even longer to get an apology for something even worse.
By the sounds of the guys on here who rant about liverpool they would roll over and not fight for anything if it happened to them

I've never understood why any comment on Hillborough, a terrible tragedy, is taken to be an affront to the whole city of Liverpool. It like when Ken Bigley met a grissly end, it must have been horrific for his family, but we had "the whole city of Liverpool in mourning"......

When Bradford's ground burnt down 56 people died yet in contrast to Hillborough when is it ever even mentioned?

Horrible things happen all over the country sadly but Liverpudlians do seem to revel in victimhood.

Unless there is more to it that none of us know about, then this situation is grossly unfair on Davies and the way that Eddie has thrown Davies under the bus will do Matchroom no favours. I'd like to hear an interview with Eddie regarding this. And not a PR based one that avoids asking the real questions. I'd like to hear this addressed properly.

And now its been said that Davies comments were in fact aimed at an apparent burglary that Coyle was in some way implicated in. I suppose Coyle doesn't owe Davies anything, but its not very honourable allowing Davies to be blamed for something entirely different, and especially a subject as controversial and sensitive as Hillsborough.

If Davies was referring to Hillsborough, then he's obviously a c***, BUT I think its growing clearer by the second that he wasn't. The way that some people have turned on him is disgusting. He needs to seek legal advice to address this issue and then he needs to go about setting up a new team to handle his career.

I was just explaining to loftgroov the difference between a cover up of how hillsborough happened and a fire at valley parade,he, and a lot of people still dont know the difference u see or understand why the families have fought for so long.

Still OD doesnt deserve to be cut from making a living, its ok for hearn to make decisions like this when he already has millions in the bank but a young prospect relys on fighting to earn a living so in my opinion its wrong,so what if he gives an interview to the scum i wont read it and most on merseyside wont. Lets not forget that wayne rooney's dad(a born and bred scouser from croxteth) gave the story of rooney moving to manchester united to the scum newspaper but no one ever mentions this, this is unforgivable in my eyes not a cockney telling a guy from hull he will give his interview to the paper

I see, so it appears Davies comment was just a daft remark aimed at a slight link between Coyle and a burglary as reported in the Sun......and yet now he's been lambasted as though he was taking the p*** out of Hillsborough. That's bad enough but the lack of loyalty shown from his training team and promoter has been appalling really.

Having said that....I'm sure warren will be happy to welcome Davies into his fold and in all fairness getting rid of Sims is actually a positive step for Davies who has raw talent but is underdeveloped and in need of a really good coach. Sims is mediocre and really an assistant coach at best. He was never the right man to develop Davies.

Is ohara Davies a moron ? FxxKing right he is.
I'm from Liverpool and totally despise the sun paper and all it stands for ( and taansend your jokes are not even the slightest bit funny. If you had went through even 1% of what the Hillsborough families went through you wouldn't joke about this ) . But however I think the treatment of Davies over this is a little bit over the top. Political correctness is a crazy crazy thing these days. Yes ohara is guilty of being a tit and a moron but for fucks sake let's settle down a bit . He's said something stupid. I'm sure we all have at some stage . Surely his trainer abandoning him is not true. He should be guiding him and looking after him right now? ??
