Wouldn't the loss of sponsorship be more related to his "Barry" tweets?

So many different reasons to choose from as to why he doesn’t get sponsors, it’s amazing how people connected with allow him any social media. They must wince every time they pick theirs phones up

Yeah, that’s the problem. Obviously seems to think he’s gods gift to comedy. Unfortunately the whole wife beating / junky baiting / alleged comments about people’s dead relatives thing doesn’t go over well.
And that’s before you factor in allowing your kids to punch opponents in the balls, the iffy drugs tests in Massachusetts and boring the arse out of everyone 9 fights out of 10.
Come to think about, knocking about with the Kinshan crew looks like his better side.

Possibly the only time in history both of them turned down the opportunity to appear on TV

I wish I could say the amount of people defending Kinahan as a noble business man caught in a witch hunt by the media and the police was shocking, but it really isn't

The footage of Jamie Kavanaghs dad being gunned down was chilling, you can see bullets hitting the chairs and windows as he tries to run away, the guy he was with also had a few shots fired at him by the second gunman, while the first stood over Kavanaghs prone body and emptied the rest of his clip into him in front of a crowd of bar patrons

One of the witnesses to Gary Hutches shooting said they thought it was two lads playing a game until she heard Hutch begging for his life before the gunman executed him

I guess this is just some "original G" stuff to some people

TBF the board is a bit knackered when we’re talking about foreign nationals who aren’t licence holders.
“Advisor” covers a whole lot of ground, and if they aren’t taking any payment (presumably because they “ahem” earn their money elsewhere) it’s difficult to prove a business relationship.
Don’t know if there’s a way to work out some form of “fit and proper person” clause around this for their licences, but without this it all relies on individuals having some personal integrity.
It’d also be interesting to know if some other promoter/manager types would fall foul of this.
The sports’ historical willingness to accept dubious characters has allowed this to happen, it’s just that info is so freely available now that shows any wrong ‘uns up.
