There is that, but that wasn't against Khan.bigjack wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 13:27I'd agree usually, but I think Brook getting done with a jab last time could show he's fragile

Right. Regardless of the timing of the fight. One has to agree it’s a 50/50 match and we don’t get a lot of thosejamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 15:49There is that, but that wasn't against Khan.

Exactly, that's what makes it a potential cracker, wouldn't surprise me if either gets stopped.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 16:09Right. Regardless of the timing of the fight. One has to agree it’s a 50/50 match and we don’t get a lot of those

Personally I can at least envision Khan knocking Brook down. He’s floored quite a few fighters who have solid chins, cos of his speed. As shot as Kell is and as much as i imagine the weight will affect him, it is wouldn’t surprise me
Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | Sky Sports PPV - 19 February 2022
Don't buy too many but i'll buy this one , would'nt want to risk glitching on a stream and missing the KO ,,, REAL 50-50 FOR ME , AND AT THERE AGE there not passed it ,, just passed fighting the elite , which both were never really good enough for anyway , Should be a good fight ,, and the loser can go put Benn away
Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | Sky Sports PPV - 19 February 2022
Paddy Power have this 4/7 Brook 11/8 Khan. I expected something closer but that’s fair enough.

Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | Sky Sports PPV - 19 February 2022
I'm not sure how to interpret Eddie's latest comments on Khan vs Brook - was he perhaps insinuating that a fix is on? "I was fearful of Brook making 147 to fight Crawford, I am not fearful for Brook vs Khan".
Every fight is dangerous, unless the fix is on and sometimes even when the fix is on it can still be dangerous. I bet you no one expected to see Evander Holyfield tottering about the ring in 2021.

I don’t think he’s insinuating there’s a fix - just that Crawford is one of the very best fighters in the world, at his peak, and a great finisher whilst Khan is past his best (arguably by 10 years) with great speed but not loads of power.stujones wrote: ↑01 Dec 2021, 09:55 I'm not sure how to interpret Eddie's latest comments on Khan vs Brook - was he perhaps insinuating that a fix is on? Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | Sky Sports PPV - 19 February 2022
Conor Benn will be ringside.
Conor Benn insists he will 'one million percent' be ringside for Amir Khan vs Kell Brook as welterweight hopeful sets sights on domestic showdown with the winner
'Both of them are talking like their fight is a warm-up for me so that's fine,' Benn told The Sun.
'I will be ringside for their fight, one million per cent. I will fight the winner, no problem at all, bring on Khan or Brook, either of them.
'When I hear them and their promoter describe them both as Britain's two best welterweights, I completely disagree.
'If anyone still thinks they are the two best welterweights we have to offer, or the winner of the fight is the No 1, I would like to clear that up straight away.'
His boxing education will continue in a test against respected American Chris Algieri later this month, but Benn is already eyeing up a potential mega-fight with Khan or Brook.
'I never called out Brook before because I know him. But since he is dropping my name in, he can have it too,' he added.
'I watched them both growing up as a kid and even when I first turned pro I watched them both as a fan so I would love to fight the pair of them. It would be a massive domestic fight.
'I would fight either, if they offered me a choice I would toss a coin, I couldn't care less.
'Brook got knocked by a jab against Terence Crawford and the other one has got bingoed in his last few fights, when he has not boxed blown-up featherweights like Billy Dib.'

I bet any money Benn wouldn’t take the fight at 154 with Brook. It’s ok giving it the big one about Brook getting stopped by a jab off Crawford at 147 but Brook wasn’t getting hurt when he was sparring with Benn before he drained himself.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑02 Dec 2021, 11:43 Conor Benn will be ringside.![]()

They had over 100k people sign up for pre-sales.
Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | Sky Sports PPV - 19 February 2022
I tried to get pre sale tickets but no chance. Cheapest current tickets are £800. Ridiculous.
Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | Sky Sports PPV - 19 February 2022
All tickets sold with a couple of minutes with many purchases bought in bulk just for resale…. This practice needs to be outlawed.
MEN holds 22k, so makes you wonder why it was at a stadium with a roof; Cardiff perhaps.
Looks like it would sell to me.
I didn’t get tickets btw.

why do they make 40 quid tix if people are willing to pay hundreds for em. always baffled me. Resale guys probably make more on the gate than the show itself.

Tickets for this are off the scale. Insane resale prices. And Eddie said it wasn't a big night! I've never seen anything like it.
