I was scoring what I thought the judges were scoring, rather than what was fair.

Canelo was below par, struggling with Plant's handspeed and awkwardness, but I still had him 3-4 rounds up...
like the judges did ! :brick:

He's cleaning out a terrible 168 lb division. Reminds me a lot of Sergio Martinez. He's at least a P4P level fighter, unlike Martinez, but this is getting boring.

I think Plant did better than BJS, which I didn't expect.
I only gave him 3 rounds, but a lot were close. Canelo had a dominant 6th but Plant was there or thereabouts the rest of the way.
What now for Plant?

Wonder what the judges had it at the time of stoppage.

I had this fight close and apparently was the only one so I’m clueless scoring a Canelo fight.

Since Canelo/GGG II, Canelo learned to apply pressure every second of every round, he’s impossible to beat. No one can fight 12 rounds backing up. He’s as unbeatable as I’ve ever seen.

At least he’s knocking out everyone and we don’t need to see the putrid scorecards if we don’t want to.

Goes to show you the level of competition at 168 if this is still true. Canelo vs. Ramirez seems like a no-brainer at some point, though.

He's looking better than he is because there is a lack of talent at 168. Fair play that he can make the weight, but this is a lot like Crawford at 140.

And now, the real fight at 168 lbs after BJS: David Benavidez.

Plant gave Canelo the most competetive fight since Kovalev.

96-94 was OK. 97-93 was possible. 98-92 was sh!t.

Plant should move up to 175. He'll far worse, but I think it'll help his stamina issues. He can at least be a name for some of the guys to build up. Fight dudes like Jessie Hart and Vlasov.

I wouldn't mind vs Zurdo.

Benavidez would be good ! :box:

If Martinez even dreamed of being like this he should wake up and apologize.

Sounds good. The guy shouldn't stop like Canel after Floyd.
