He did some commentary and punditry with BT when he was with Frank as well.

Might end up being the next Duke McKenzie in more ways than one.

I don't mind peeps thinking Rakh somehow won 7-5, like 114-113, but I do think wide for Rakh is just shite.
TWW was so much classier throughout, footwork and accuracy vs a face-first slugger. I get that it nearly worked for Shere Khan, but really... :witzend:

clear win for cordina - gave heavier and harder shots and took rakimovs best relatively unfazed whilst putting him down and leaving him smashed to bits and exhausted . :yay: :yay: :yay:

his work looked easier on the eye, but he was still getting hit a lot, hurt multiple times (bizarrely almost no mention from ppl of how he winced badly and back peddled across the ring in the 6th), had rounds he took off etc.........116-111 rak and 117-110 cord seem about the same level of bias towards each fighter tbh

cordina just pulled it back in the final round for me..........

Apart from shouting 'ohhh' everytime his man lands a decent shot, disregarding shots landed by the non house fighter and being the standard hearn/dazn nuthugger, yeah he's fantastic.

Hmm. I think he could be great co-comm if he was allowed to be neutral. Same with costello, was great on the radio but he is so biased in his comms now it's embarrassing.

Much improved from Gwynne but Woodruff didn't have make it hard for himself, he started off well enough, not much on his punches but wasn't too much difference in work rate but then he just started laying on the ropes allowing Gwynne to work away up close, Woodruff was looking a bit disheveled at end of 4th and Gwynne kept it up in the 5th Woodruff backed up in the corner taking too many shots and not throwing back, he was dodging a few as well mind, the ref seemed to be hovering about for an eternity before finally the inevitable stoppage, Gwynne just kept punching

I didn’t score it but general feeling was Rakh did enough. I thought some of his work wasn’t getting mentioned.
Cording was the classier fighter but the pressure and body work for me was shading it. I agree with you that the wide card to Rakh was off but there wasn’t too many clear rounds either way from what I remember and can understand the scores being so different.

3 rounds the judges scored to Joe. 3 to Shav.

And I think thats fair enought. The other 6 all over the place. Draw was the fair result probably!

Hope Joe's hands are ok.

Had it 116-111 Cordina but could def see it a round or maybe 2 closer, it was an excellent competitive fight, can't make a case for Rakhimov though I'd be extremely generous, the styles gelled really well, the skills and shot selection of Cordina, dropped Rakhimov with a sweet left hook across the chin in the 2nd, against the tenacity and aggression of Rakhimov who hurt Cordina a few times, rocked him with a jolting straight right in rounds 4 or 5 and was getting on top but Cordina has got dog and needed it along with his skills to regain a foothold of the fight, Rakhimov's eye was a mess, Cordina was pinging him with right hands, the action swung back and forth with both men landing and hurting, Cordina I thought edged the last two to seal the W, again excellent fight though
