Allen 8lbs heavier than the last fight. Think it’s his career heaviest.

Does anybody here think that David Allen sat down with Jamie Moore at the start of camp and they came up with a strategy and plan that involved increasing David's weight?

Really?
That's what he says.
Leaving that aside, I've watched quite a few of Dave's Youtube posts recently and he doesn't seem that motivated to me. Maybe, he's just relaxed and confident but he seemed much more on it in the run up to the first fight.
Either way, I feel quite undecided on how this one will go.

he really dies not drink, never has. His father does, Dave definitely does not.
I have no idea how this one will go though, really hope Dave wins. I quite like how riled GAD seems to make Johnny's father.

I want Dave Allen to win as well. I've nothing against Fisher but Dave's local to me and somehow he just comes over like the hardest kid on the school bus, which I quite like. He was also robbed in the first fight.
Tbh, no result would surprise me though.

Disappointing Allen's came in out of shape, was hoping he'd a least be a few lbs less than last fight, I'm even more confident Fisher outboxes him easy this time

It seems Dave feels he proved his point last time and has now sold his name.

What's suspicious: Fisher stopping Dave in first couple of rounds? First half?

Fisher to win Rounds 1-4 available at 13-1 with Paddy Power.
A knockdown in any of the first four rounds is 4-1.
I didn’t fancy Fisher until I saw the weigh-in, but I reckon he comes out banging and makes a statement now.
Re: Johnny Fisher vs. Dave Allen II | DAZN - 17 May 2025
I think big John has gone OTT with Gareth and Spencer but Gareth is being stupid antagonising his family/friends.
I scored the fight live 5-5 so had Allen winning by 1 point.
Whilst the bulk of the rounds were easy to score I’ve seen plenty of much worse decisions not get close to the same level of outrage. Steve Gray’s card for example on Saturday was far worse than anything from the Fisher/Allen fight.
How can GAD say the judging was a disgrace when he himself only had Allen up by one point!? Also didn’t one judge have Allen winning? A disgrace is Hamzah Sheeraz getting a draw over Carlos Adames
Because all 5 of Allen’s rounds were big, easy to score rounds. There’s no debate about rounds 5-9 for me & he had a knockdown.
You can have a robbery that can be decided by a single point just like you can have a really close fight with enough swing rounds in it that ends 116-112.
In this fight there were no swing rounds to possibly give to Fisher that Allen won.

Same. I've been looking forward to this redemption fight. Boxers rarely get the chance if it isn't in the contract.
All Dave really needed was a bit more cardio so he could up his work rate earlier in the fight and win more rounds.

I hope I'm wrong but Allen will be even more ponderous and slower than normal.
Does anybody think he's in any kind of shape looking like that?

This is how I see it even before the weigh in. Allen done well to get a rematch so many don’t after getting shafted. Think Fisher stops him first half..

I reckon he’s in roughly the same shape as last time. He looks about the same. Weighing in later in the day might account for some of the extra lbs.
