franklin doesnt excite me, he has pretty much no wins of note, but at least he's shown durability and isnt old (albeit he's fat an inactive)
I noticed Franklin is fighting Ivan Dychko on the Crawford/Canelo undercard. Not sure how exciting it will be, but a decent 50/50 fight on paper.

On the Mannix podcast they suggested Andy Ruiz as a possible opponent. It’d be interesting to see how Moses would deal with a guy with Andy’s hand speed.

Some might say Ruiz is washed up but he’s surely got more to offer than an aged Pulev

Moses Itauma Vs Fabio Wardley the interim, Pulev the world, or Uysk the #1?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he fights Usyk in either his next bout or the bout after that.

It may well be "too soon", but I honestly think a fight with Usyk for Itauma is a win/win at this point in his career. If he wins obviously that's huge, and he's the new Champion of the World having beaten a great Champion. If he loses he will have learned SO much from sharing the ring with Usyk, and having to think and operate a higher level than he ever previously has just to get clean punches in, and it's not as if Usyk would deliver a horrific beating to him even if he beat him, he'd outbox him, he'd give him a boxing lesson. Something that Itauma could take, and build on to become a better fighter later.

The more I think about it. That's the right fight to make, and now is the right time to make it.

And why is it the right fight for the undisputed champion?

Because if he's ever going to beat Itauma he's going to beat him now. Just like when Mayweather picked the exact right moment to beat Canelo before he got any better.

The more experience Itauma gets, The older Usyk gets. The more it swings Itauma's way. If they fought right now it'd be a huge fight, and Usyk could potentially be notching a win over the next Heavyweight Champion to be. If they fight a few years from now or even a full year from now it might be too late, and Usyk's opportunity to have beaten the young man will have passed.

That's only if Itauma ever amounts to being the king of the next generation. He hasn't come close to proving that he will be

Neither had Canelo. It just kinda seemed like he might be one of those kinda guys, and it turned out he was.
