Call me crazy... But I voted for Billy to do it on points... But it really could be a mission impossible...
Callum smith was a good fighter, not elite but very decent and he played with him and had it all his own way,yes some of his elite opposition were close fights, which shows really anyone below that level is getting a beating,is Saunders elite ?mickey1975 wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 05:22 I’m putting it out there.... Is Canelo slightly overrated? It’s been close every time he’s fought anyone good, could easily be 0-3 against elite guys and I totally dismiss Rocky and Yildrim. Giving C Smith a few weeks notice was bad, too.
No I didn't. Don't make stuff up.bigjack wrote: ↑02 Mar 2021, 03:08And yet in a previous post you said you DIDN'T predict a Canelo ko ? Kovalev did decline but when was he thought of as chinny ?Cyclops wrote: ↑01 Mar 2021, 18:38As much as I liked Kov Ward had given him a decent old crack that definitely put some water in the basement before the testicle punishing finish. And do you deny the obvious slide of the once fearsome Russian, and the clear and increased chin deficiency, or are we trying to pretend Kov was still some kind of destroyer when he fought ginger bollocks?
I told you: Canelo by KO was my prediction before that fight. And that was because Kovalev had looked so fragile since Ward took his soul. So I watch boxing and, if I'm interested, I generally get it right. What result did you pick?
I don't think he'll do it but if the odds are insane as I expect them to be I'll stick a couple of quid on it for fun.Oiky wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 08:13 I think if anyone can beat Canelo then Bill can
Can make it a very hard nights work for Canelo,I rate Canelo highly but bill is very skilled and I think people's views on him are getting in the way of their views on his chances
Course he could do with being more active for this, but he will turn up trust me
I've moved on from this as i was bored with itCyclops wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 08:28No I didn't. "I didn't vote Canelo by KO in the build up because I thought he'd be the fighter from Ward 1." Is that the sentence you want to try and take out of all the context surrounding it where I said he was chinny and a shot fighter ready to stopped when Canelo fought him? Why don't you slow down and read posts properly?
He's been thought of as chinny for quite some time. It's no new observation.
You picked the argument, mate.bigjack wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 08:47I've moved on from this as i was bored with itCyclops wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 08:28No I didn't. Don't make stuff up.

I think that's a smart predictionPredatorHayds wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 12:20 BJS is a bully. I think as soon as he’s battered for a couple of rounds he will look for a way out.
Retires on his stool after 5 rounds with a ‘damaged shoulder’
That way he could say he wasn't actually beaten properly, looking forward to this one and seeing how Saunders will deal with the best opponent he has ever faced , who is improving and active.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 12:30I think that's a smart predictionPredatorHayds wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 12:20 BJS is a bully. easy to answer - nonebigjack wrote: ↑03 Mar 2021, 14:37How many of Saunder's opponent would Canelo have struggled with or gone to split decisions/close wins over ?stevec@france wrote: ↑03 Mar 2021, 14:06 Blow Job Saunders has been inactive and has fought mediocre opposition for years .
perfect prep for Canelo![]()
Exactly, not the best preperation when facing the worlds P4P number 1 for the undisputed title in Americastevec@france wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 13:19easy to answer - nonebigjack wrote: ↑03 Mar 2021, 14:37How many of Saunder's opponent would Canelo have struggled with or gone to split decisions/close wins over ?stevec@france wrote: ↑03 Mar 2021, 14:06 Blow Job Saunders has been inactive and has fought mediocre opposition for years .

its all about $$$$$gilgamesh wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 14:20 A sure fire win for Canelo obviously. Saunders can't knock out Canelo therefore he can't win. Even if he deserved an 8 rounds to 4 decision, the decision would go to Canelo.
So the only question here is how does Canelo win. Simply not possible for Saunders to win.
For the record, I don't think Canelo will need any help in beating Saunders. I think he'll be able to beat him legitimately, but he of course has the help should he need it.
