Anyone would be good outdoors in Belfast !
I think he needs
a few more fights before he’s ready and they should be well paid too - no hurry.
X2
He is being brought up quickly, not quite as fast as Taylor was, but close.
Then he is a reflex fighter, in a light weight class, and 29 years old.
We have known plenty of the littler guys start fading at 32+

29 !
There’s a bit more hurry then !
Still as he’s the A side they can plot his run nicely.

Yeah, 29. You would hope he has at least 3 years of peak.
Feathers can fade super fast, should almost be a thread titled "Overnight Faders"

Just can't take to Conlan , he should be a higher level by now , still handpicks and just does'nt have it something missing , nothing wrong with that not everyone can be great , but his team think he is ,

Ive never heard of this tj guy. And ive not been impressed either.
He was involved in a unification fight at Super-Bantamweight only two years ago on a massive card.
Do you not watch the lighter weight classes ?
Not as much. I had never heard of him sorry

Very popular among Nationalists but his overt Republicanism alienates half of the Belfast boxing fanbase.
Frampton had support across the board.

Domination from Conlan, had Doheny taking a quick knee after hurting him to body in the 5th, was able to outfight him as well as outbox him, never really troubled and Doheny took his lumps, still Conlan's style just doesn't do it for me, a def improvement in entertainment stakes though

Michael Conlan Injury Update Following Biggest Career Win
Belfast’s Michael Conlan recently recorded the biggest, and, most meaningful win of his professional boxing career to date.
An impressive unanimous points decision over former world champion TJ Doheny in front of a passionate Belfast, best boxing fans in the world, attendance.
Big things ahead for Conlan but for now he has given an update on injury that will keep him on the side lines just for now:
A lot of injuries in boxing at the moment in fairness. A string of them happening at the moment it seems.
Plenty of time for them to all come back stronger of course, always the way.
This year continues to show how boxing can survive, even in the most adverse times.
Same again next year when many of these boxers recover from injury.
No doubt about it.
