AJ can be proud. He has boxed Uysk twice, boxed Ruiz twice and both Fury and Wilder have walked away from fights with him.

If the top contender, can't agree terms then the WBC should go down the list of ranked boxers to get a shot. Fair enough if number ranked won't fight go to number 2 and so on. I'm guessing a top 10 or 15 would face Fury and for a mediocre pay check.

The WBC at some point has to find a boxer to face the champion. I would have thought the WBC should say, Fury has to fight someone in the top 10 in the next 3 months. If a fight cannot be made tough shit on Fury you are going to be stripped. If the WBC aren't bothered about stripping Fury then of course he will knock his heals and just fight dumb ass exhibitions and make money from those.

I suspect Usyk vs Zhang would be a huge fight in Macau, China. Are they still trying to make that city the "Vegas of the East" I remember that was the idea when Pacquiao fought their a while back.

I figure that'd be the biggest possible location for that fight. Although obviously if Usyk can fight Fury. I'd rather see that.

They tried it once with Pacquiao. I'd think if ever they could market Boxing in China it'd be when they have a Chinese Heavyweight Champion. Though maybe they'd rather wait for him to be the defending Champion, and not challenging for it.

Yes the heavyweight division has become very much a ‘business’ and not a sport. People are just not competing against other. The division could really do with a Super Six competition, but clearly that’s not happening.
