Check out Duran v Viruet I, if I remember right 3 posters had Viruet winning.
I didn't score it as I watched, but I did watch that one back a while back. It was definitely a lot closer than their rematch was. Duran had a close fight with a little known guy named Jeff Lanas as well.
The Lanas fight was in ‘88 though, comfortably past Duran’s prime.
I have never seen his fights with Edwin Viruet.

Whether a guy was past his prime or not doesn't mean a fight didn't have a score.

How were his two fights with Edwin Viruet? From the sound of it, the first one was close.

They're both excellent, hard fought bouts. Duran was in better shape, and was able to push the pace more in the rematch, but both are good action scraps.
He also fought Edwin Viruet's brother Adolfo.

I had Viruet winning the 1st bout 5-3-2, and the crowd booed loudly when Duran got the decision. In the rematch Viruet fought too flatfooted, and I had him losing 74-63. Surprisingly in the 12th, the only round I gave to Viruet, he opened up a cut above Duran's eye. I also had Viruet beating Esteban DeJesus, though he lost a SD.

He had a lot of close fights. This one reminds me of his title defense with Lou Bizzarro, he had a hard time with him also before finally catching up to him, and knocking him out late in the fight.

To answer your question there numbers...we gotta get you a Username by the way.
I had the Barrera-Morales trilogy scored thusly.
Fight 1: 115-112 Barrera
Fight 2: 115-113 Morales
Fight 3: 114-114 Even
Even though I feel like Barrera should've gotten the decision in the 1st bout, it almost feels more appropriate that Morales won the War while Barrera won the Tactical Boxing match. Both fights are close enough that I don't say it's a "robbery" it was just a close call, and even if you think the decisions were wrong. Ultimately cosmic justice prevailed, and each man got their rightful victory in 1 of the 2 bouts.

I appreciate it. I have now watched and scored I and II. I will watch and score the third when I get the chance. Perhaps tonight.

Sure bud. We like talking boxing around here. As for your Username I don't know if it "matters that way" or whatever that's supposed to mean, I just figured you'd rather have a name with a little personality to it as opposed to a number like a convict
