Anyways, it looks like it was 96-92 and someone made a typo somewhere. 96-92 the best card out of the 3.

10-10s are always allowed i thought. just rarely used. But yea looks like 96-92, which is still way to close.

Either:
-The judge had yoka up after 9 rounds....
Or
-The judge gave yoka round 10

Nah. Really? You think? I was watching Yoka more than Bakole... Chisora is a short pressure fighter, bobs and weaves, utilises a cross armed defence... Bakole isn't any of those things is he?

Watching the highlights (full fight not yet available on YouTube) he was fighting at an ok pace.

Mad that he can be so heavy and not gas out completely over 10.

i can see shades of chizz with how he puts together the looping shots when he's coming forward in attack mode, though obviously they have a lot of differences too

bakole has some good things about him, throws every type of punch (even body) and has pop to them, good combos, obviously a natural shw

there is a 1 pacedness to him though and times he seems to drop off. rounds 7, 8, and 9 yoka got back into it. i think other hws could finished off yoka already if theyd had him in that trouble

still, nice win that could set him up for something bigger. would like to see him vs hrgovic-zhang winner, gassiev, dub-bryan winner etc

Finally the end of Yoka hype. Thought he'd win this won. Guess he's worse than I had thought.

Yeah - the Juggernaut was totally jobbed at the Olympics.

Had it 99-89 for Bakole, as easy a night as he will likely get anywhere, Yoka was dreadful, any fight he had was knocked out if him in the 1st round when a clubbing right hand had him taking a knee, didn't look a big shot but everything Bakole landed early registered, Yoka's nose was broken early and he just looked lost at sea all night, Bakole kept composed and just walked Yoka down and took him apart, good variety to head and body, whipped in some nice lefts downstairs, the knockdown in the 5th looked a bit harsh, Yoka looked like he went over his ankle


It didn't matter as Yoka showed no real ambition and backpedaled all night, I wouldve like to have seen Bakole show more urgency, I've no doubt Yoka would've folded by an onslaught, Yoka looked relieved to hear the final bell and probably explains why he looked sprightly in the last round, bizarre but considering the cards were apparently close maybe he thought he still wouldve got it

ya and that's why i dont think it's unfair to call bakole a bit lazy. defo could bashed yoka out of there with a bit more ambition to his attack, yoka looked unsteady, scared, and panicky almost all fight

Yoka was simply awful from the off .
He seemed to slim for a HW and lacked power , never threw enough and once hurt in the 1st that was it Bakole had his number .

His career is well fecked now in boxing terms however he is still the great " French hope " - hence the totally incomprehensible judges scoring .

Bakole isnt anything special lets face it - Chisora level on a good day .
But fair play to him he battered Yoka in a totally one sided way .

The full fight was on the tube last night for anyone who hasnt seen it .

Just caught up with this, great performance from Bakole. Hard to give Yoka any rounds at all, the 7th perhaps and maybe the 8th if we're being very generous because it was a bit of a quiet round. How the cards were that close with two 10-8 rounds (even if the 5th shouldn't have counted) I don't know. Bizarre from Yoka in the 10th, he didn't engage at all it was as if he thought he just needed to survive the round to win...

Yoka proved why he didn’t deserve that gold. Not very good.
