Wish sky would go back to Friday Fight Night, British/Commonwealth/European title fights every week with the occasional World title fight , plus the best of American action, was certainly a lot better than this Boxxer stuff, I don't expect greatness every time but for the amount of content they show it's not good enough

Holybejesus - people are now calling for Friday Fight Night to return, for me the move to FFN was that start of the downfall of boxing on TV. allegedly used to say all the time that it meant less money for him, less quality fighters being brought over and therefore less quality.
The sport just needs promoting / advertising. Eddie does a remarkable job under the (greedy) circumstances but what Eddie does is largely what the TV execs need to be doing.
You think the man is gonna make up having cancer ffs, he's got kids, you think someone like Adam Smith would do that? He's not some attention seeking shit kicker posting behind an anonymous account

Have you considered maybe he didn’t want people to know he had cancer? What a bizarre take on it all. It’s a bit like the stick that ring announcer got after a car accident, he ended up posting X-rays and videos of appointments and still some people thought he was making it up!

Adam Smith is ok / middle of the road boxing presenter who must have a wealth of knowledge and experience in his locker with great contacts etc so I wouldnt be surprised to see him out early 24 working for dazn / tnt etc - obv not sky .
I prefer him to some of the clowns we have to endure like devhani / mallignagi / aledipido to name a few .

Well I think he's better than Costello and would welcome him back behind the mic .
Tone down the growling a bit and he'd be fantastic.
