and on a personal note, my health prognosis is even better. I was 270lbs August 11th, now 210lbs exactly. Two training sessions a day every day, and planning to be in full remission by March. Hope everyone is well.

Nice one Sean, great to hear
Thanks a lot mate, really appreciate it. Lifting heavy weights and being way too heavy is firmly behind me. Planning to get down to 200lbs by xmas and then finish at 180 by March.

That's some weight drop! Carry on like that and you can challenge Conor Benn

Thanks mate. It's a lot easier as I was grossly overweight. I prep people for weight loss so know how to do it scientifically via protein intake and cycling carbs but due to the cancer I need my testosterone levels as low as possible so have had to do it old school through not eating lots of protein and just having a low calorie diet and lots of exercise. It's annoying as I know how to bring weight in whilst retaining muscle as I did it when I competed in weight class (105kg and 90kg) strongman but have to park that knowledge and do it another way so losing equal amounts of muscle and fat. It is very humbling.

I didn't know keeping low testosterone was a thing with cancer

Sorry to harp on about me on the forum like a narcissist nobhead, I can't speak for all cancers, but mine is prostate, I took steroids for years, I definitely created my own health issues, so rectifying it now. High test levels in itself is not a determinant of prostate cancer but synthetically jabbing grams of it needlessly definitely is. So I am doing the polar opposite and it is working. It's like detoxifying yourself after 14 years of poor living.

Don’t be silly mate, you are only responding to messages, I’m sure we are all glad to hear you are heading in a good direction.

Never knew that. Is that a confirmed /definite link?
Is is the same for other sources such as gels and tablets? I know tablets are super hard on the liver.
Can you keep test down by taking estrogen, or does it not work like that?
Something always put me off steds even in my own lifting days. I just don't believe there's such a thing as a free lunch. Was always wary. That plus listening to lads talking /fretting about frying their nuts and never being able to produce their own test again

That made me chuckle it sure is. I’m not buying anything decent at the moment, I’ve given all my gym gear away to lads at the gym, I had a few grands worth of belts, grips, pieces of equipment, clothes etc so have just given them to lads who are still in the sport. I have no need of them now. It’s been really liberating becoming small again. I’m naturally a medium sized person so it’s been an adjustment but it’s quite freeing.

I’m no expert mate I can only speak for me but I used human growth hormone for years that makes all cells grow so you can imagine the impact it had. I was definitely the architect of my own demise hence being extremely grateful and sheepish about my predicament as there are kids who gets cancer who are just unlucky, I created my situation hence getting off my arse and owning it and, hopefully, sorting it.
