Mitchell wasn't exactly under par but B's energy made him look as though he was.

I'm not sure I can be arsed goiung through this discussion again, it's been fairly well covered in the "is this worthy of PPV" thread.

Even if there are some entertaining fights on the card, the level is just not PPV material, end of.
It's the content that decides if it's worthy.
I'm sure there are small hall shows up and down the country, with 50/50 contests, fight of the year contenders and real good scraps
But see the day Camp Eddie puts it on PPV (and believe me, he will) I won't be fornicating paying for it.

I think Hearn and Crolla might just take another look at that offer to fight Flanagan.

Until I saw it in slow motion and from a different angle I couldn't tell that it was a jab that finished the fight despite rewinding three times

Unbelievable ending. What a jab!

I hate when they say 'Is there a way back...?'. It's boxing, there's always a way back. But should Mitchell bother is the question they should be asking.

Anthony C will do better than that but I don't think he will beat him. I hate to say it, but I think this guy will catch up with Ant over 12.

Short, sharp shot.... Did the business.

Tragic for Mitchell. Cant see him coming back now. Battle worn.

He should have a long rest and then go back to British title level.

I was on Enzo KO, Barroso win, and Bellew on points, so it has been a good night. Next one is Eubank Jr rounds 1-3.

Wow - got to feel for Mitchell. He is a peculiar one. He took Linares best shots for 10 rounds but, like against Burns (who isn't a puncher on paper) it looked from the start the Mitchell would be outstrengthed and KO'd early.

Will he be motivated to drop back to British level?

Never did like Mitchell. I remember seeing him swanning around cockily at the ABAs before watching his brother Vinny get sparked.

He also looks 10 years older than his relative Phil Mitchell.

He's got a bad attitude if he can't.

He's never even defended the British title.

He's never really moved beyond domestic level.

I think he learned a lot from that loss. Spike will be open. I like 6/1 on it.
