Yes, bit of a mystery. Haven't heard about Gomez senior for a while but apparently wasn't in a good way.

What do you say about this fight and Dave Allen .well i think the first thing you have to say is it looked like a complete mismatch . Hrgovic judt simply too big and way to good .
Thats the easy part now regards Allen i suppose if your in the Daves a top fella , Daves a trier , Good on old dave he s a battler group then it was good on him.at least he tried and made a quid .

Now myself personaly too be honest i,ve seen lots of Allen on u tube being interviewed , but i ve not actually seen him fight too much , has much has i knew of Dave the person i did,nt know much about Dave the boxer . So whats my take on it and him . Well after watchingbit in the firstvrnd i thought.... Whaaaat the fooook....i looked at him and in the next few rnds looked even closer . And i then very quickly came toobthe conclusion that Allen should make a video of how NOT TO DO IT . Trainers should show that to there novices on what happens when you throw the left and drop the right ,or throw the right and drop the left, along with hands too low . No head movement and numerous other things too do wrong . The guy obviously has a top shelf chin but his skills are novice . Personaly the onevthing i do think has already been made by anothrrnposter . He was set up Yep set up to make his opponent look good and become an opponent for Moses . Anyone who has watched Dave Allen in the past must know he was.nt going to stand a chance against ANY reasonable boxer that much bigger than him . Because i doubt he got that bad overnihht Dave Allen was totally outclassed its has simple has that and if he ever gets another cravk at a top 10 guy it will be a pisstake

I remember seeing a video of him maybe 5+ years ago and he wasn’t sounding great back then

Just got to see the Allen/Hrgovic fight. Resembled George Foreman vs Chuvalo. 1 guy had a chin to take punches from a bigger and better fighter, and that's about it.

Was woefully outmatched otherwise, and had to be saved.

I don't think there's a level where Allen is gonna pick up a title. Maybe an Area title, that's about it. He's unquestionably tough, but that's all he is. He's got absolutely no skill at all.

I watched the highlights and it did remind me of the Homer Simpson boxing episode. Warren could have put Hrg up against a more suitable opponent I'm sure and still had the easy win to set up the Itauma fight, surely?

Meant to weigh 230, ate his weigh above 260.

Only time he’s been lighter is when he starved himself as he cannot be bothered to do the hard work.

Uses Joe Hayden to drive him around like a workman/fraggle in my community.

He’s the opposite of what we should support.

The skeletons are going to come out of Dave’s closet including some of the people’s parents who he trained.

You used to be his biggest fan on here, from what I remember? I only started watching his YouTube after you were regularly posting the vids (and I still watch the channel now, although don’t enjoy it as much as I used to when he was mostly talking about his old fights / sparring seasons with the big boys). Sounds like something has made you have a major rethink?

in fact dave not got a win in any title fight hes ever been in.

remember that any time you think of suggesting that he'd win this or that title if he fought for it. ive seen some people say that of him vs the current euro champ but that guy has actually gotten a couple decent wins lately and could pr ob beat dave too. some people just have an odd, unflappable delusion about how good he is. its strange. i remember going into the david price fight people literally saying that the fight should be called off for price's safety. lmao wtf
