Dubois would be mandated to fight Usyk. Not Fury.

I’m not sure who WBC’s mandatory is.

Usyk’s next fights are more of Les set if he doesn’t fight Fury.

Dubois, Hrgovic and Joyce.

A fight with Usyk for all the belts didn`t need any theatricals to sell because its that big. We were even assured 100% it would be 100% pro Fury crowd cheering him on at Wembley ... apparently the Gypsy/travellers community would all be in attendance. So why would Fury need to make himself look a mug and start alienating his fan base?

Fury is an attention seeking whore - thats not news to anyone. He has books for sale and always keen to get a TV or radio appearance ... to suggest he intentionally turns himself into the bad-guy to sell the fight is nonsensical; he craves adoration too much ... my opinion is that his emotions have swamped him and he is in crisis.

Fury was my favourite active boxer alongside Crawford before this obnoxious behaviour. I'm still a fan but I'd now be quite happy to see Usyk embarassing him as a form of punnishment. Also while all the belts is most important for the hardcore, you're underestimating the cult of personality. For instance we know that unfortunately Crawford-Spence won't sell many PPVs despite it being the biggest WW unification in decades. We know the Holyfield-Lennox unification did significantly less PPVs than when either faced Mike Tyson. We know the cult of youtubers fighting, sells more than probably Bud Crawford who's an ATG in my eyes.

You maybe completely right about Fury's motivations, I grant you that. I agree he's uncomfortable with the Usyk threat and he doesn't want to fight him for less than a king's ransom. I think he likes to be in control of the trash talk and mind games and the 'Greedy Belly' trashtalk is making him feel humiliated.

It's not their fault that the Maginot line was proven ineffective. Despite that, they were a winning power in WW2 too. The French resistance was one of the fiercest in world history. France is a historical example of a country good at waging war. Modern myths and internet memes cannot erase the impact France had on wars of the past, wars of today and the idea of the Western way of war. When you think of how we fight you are thinking of something that is most likely somewhat French.
