Goodbye Bobcat. I just read his comments about jews and 9/11 in the 'other sports' forum. In addition to his comments in this thread (and a few others) he just had to go.
EXCELLENT WORK I READ THAT COMMENT THAT HE FELT KINDA GOOD ON 9-11, HE WAS A LITTLE SH*T WITH A VERY WARPED SENSE OF WHAT IS FUNNY AND WHAT ISN'T, ALSO PRETTY LOW INTELLECT IF YOU ASK ME. I'M GLAD HE LIVES IN CANADA. "EFFING" AND "EFF YOU C*NT-ING" ONE DAY THEN MAKING OUT IT WAS A JOKE THE NEXT, ON A REGULAR BASIS.
COMPLETE TOSSBAG , SHOULD HAVE GONE BEFORE NOW BUT LIKE YOU I ONLY HAD MY FIRST RUN IN WITH HIM THIS WEEK.

I Feel Fine wrote:I would say all of the above were bad decisions, except for Mayweather-De La Hoya and Hopkins-Calzaghe. I don't see how anyone disagrees with Mayweather winning, it was only a bad decision in that Oscar lost by a SD instead of a UD. I could see the case for Hopkins getting a draw, but I thought Calzaghe deserved the decision. Peak for peak its a different story.
De la hoya pressed the action, was beating Mayweather to the punch early on. Mayweather won his rounds bigger - but that not how you score a fight.
It was Very very close. Originally Iscored it a draw, my revised card had it Oscar by one. A case can be made either way.
Similar for Hopkins vs Calzaghe.

Do you know what ?
It's garbage like this that makes me post less and lerss round here.
Whether the thread's good or bad I defy anyone to come up with a UK decision worse than Barnes v Vincent.

No one claimed it was.
Oscar's "pressing the action" is what I call ineffective aggression, flurrying to steal a round and failing to do so. Oscar lost quite legitimately.
