Thats an excellent point you make there, Spud major line was when people disagreed with his moderating (everyone knew before he "came out") was without "British Admin" this site would exist. Well thanks TT for reminding everyone that it did exist long before the S/O invation.

Excellent point.

Maybe because of some of the things HE's said on forums in the past that it needed an admin in the FIRST PLACE. I'm I the only guy who remebers that he was going to quit posting cause he'd recieved a not very nice letter.

BTW, I never posted there basically because I thought having a bias admin was wrong and also because British Eastside as a website, in my opinion, came as a direct consequence and rival to another site that I made a limited contribution on. As a result the site closed. It was the spiteful nature that is was done that bugged me (I have mentioned on another thread). However, I check on the site everyday regularly - so have a fair idea what was going on.
u appear to know your stuff.i heard about the legal letter too.it would seem someone has dillusions of grandeur or is just plain spiteful.is this the same reason y secondsout folded?

TT,

Never posted at Btalk, and I don't know who racist Ron is.

Just saw the Lightsoot, PocketRocket and Spud's post there regarding ukboxingpress.

I so the promotion done on here when it started (the general section obviously) and just had a surf to see where else Lightsoot and PR had been promoting. Then I came across the boxingtalk post.

I don't know what that's like as a forum.

OK, nevermind then bro...

Ron over there is someone who detests all white fighters and reckons Antwun Echols is the best Super Middleweight around

Hopkins and Jones Jr are 'Gods' there (Literally)

So I take the only person you have 'Hate' for is Spud....

You seem a good poster so it would be good to see you around in the future...

Thanks

Yie, I am the rankings guy.

Didn't say I "hated" Spud, I don't know him never had any conversations on the net or anywhere else (I said I never posted on ESB - this is only the 2nd forum I have ever posted on).

I just don't think he's the right guy (as he's passionate and bias) to be a moderator. I think it was a bad decision by ESB and he's made some wrong decision. I don't know if ESB bosses pressured him to start the British site (not forum, there is a seperate site there aswell TT) - but he shouldn't have got involved as he's too "involved" with the sport and it was obviously going to kick an new site, which he also was a supporter for into touch.

If he can be discharged from his duties and get back to being to a regular member then I'm sure he'll be fine and the site will benefit.

I was there since the summer last year. I got banned from the site for promoting a different site.

BoxingAddicts.com

I had the address in my signature and was told that BA was competition to ESB and was banned.
We got a news feed for BA from ESB and others. Don't get me wrong there are some good articles produced there, especially by Ed Ludwig (Good poster there, does great interviews).

Thats the one - well found.

Sorry to Pocketrocket, thought he posted on that thread aswell. Sorry

But I'll leave you make your judgement - if you check out the contributions that Wibble Wobble makes on the site, it doesn't take a genius to who he is.
