I didn't think that Froch's split decision win over Dirrell was enough to put him above Hatton to gain the number 1 spot.
If Froch defends his title against Kessler then he will probably overtake Hatton.

despite 3 losses two at euro level and very close i think lynes still deserves top 30 spot

I would be inclined, not sure how seriously Horse takes this prizefigher format - but I think the nature of the Mbaye defeat should make him very close to the top 30 anyway.

Froch has the main belt in perhaps one of the deepest divisions in the sport right now.

When it comes to 'titles', Haye is the winner, having gotten the WBA, WBO and WBC cruiser titles and now a WBA title at Heavy, that commands respect.
Haye's achievements are exciting and great for the UK. But can't help but feel the biggest scalps on his record are questionable. This is not Haye's fault obviously as they were seen as the 'big fights' at the time.
Enzo has been knocked out in 2 of his last 3 following Haye. Mormeck aint fought since and was knocked out just a couple of fights before Haye. Barrett has just been knocked out quicker by Solis and lost 3 of his previous 6 (2 by KO) and then the Beast, who eeked out a split over Ruiz and an alleged King-style robbery over Holyfield.
I know case can be made for Froch's wins too. Taylor, whilst a highly decorated middleweight and coming off a 119-109 win over Lacy, had lost his previous 2 to Pavlik. But Pascal has captured a WBC title and Dirrell was a tricky, top rated unbeaten Olympian.
I think Haye has achieved more on the titles front, but Froch has had the tougher opposition to date and has come through unbeaten.

Yes, I think Froch has the slightly better wins and Haye has won the better belts.
Haye's last win over Valuev was better than Froch's last win over Dirrell, so that is mostly why Haye is number one in my rankings and Froch isn't.

I don't think that either fighter has done enough to earn a place in the rankings at the moment.
Both O'Donnell and Murray have fights scheduled this month. Murray's opponent looks poor, so I don't think he has a chance of entering the rankings next month. O'Donnell has a chance of entering the rankings next month, but he will probably have to look very good and other fighters will have to lose or draw their fights for O'Donnell to enter.

Lynes needs to get back to winning ways before he re-enters the top 30.

He needs to win a significant fight to re-enter the top 30, decent losing performances are not enough. I don't count Prizefighter wins as being good enough as the fights are only over 3 rounds.
If he could beat someone like Daws then he would probably regain his place in the top 30.
