Trevor Berbick said he was poisoned before the Tyson fight. 'They' were poisoning his Hotel food and spraying poison into his room via the air conditioning.

That's a lot of poison.

Quality. That is actually a very respectable excuse.

Can`t imagine anyone fighting on with a turtle`s head poking out for a look around.

I was being stalked by some obssessive nutcase on the internet, he captured me made me sleep in his shed at the bottom of his garden and touched me , here, here and there repeatedly.
Luckily the stalker now has David haye in his sights so i can get back to boxing, :OhYes:

Is this true?

I think you mean Andrew "Turtle Heads" Lewis :)

And yes, that's true. Although anyone who's been stricken with tropical diarrhoea (the fight was in Guyana) will know that when you gotta go, you REALLY gotta go!

very good..... :)

Roberto Duran supposedly ate a massive steak and got stomach cramps for Leonard II

Tommy Hearns had his legs rubbed too much before the Hagler fight (to be fair this is more Steward than Hearns)
Duran drank too much orange juice and defecated. Boza also defecated against Arguello, which is why he was pulled out in the corner.

Pretty good excuse, considering he won that fight in about 40 seconds. Imagine if he was healthy!

And in case anyone was confused by his over-technical, medical diagnosis he clarified by adding "Its spinal".

Classic.

Jerry Quarry said the same thing after an unbelievable 15-round loss to former middleweight Jimmy Ellis in 1968.
