You need more than heart to win a fight, he needs to preserve his undefeated record and this is too much of a risk, esp as he only has a months notice

Conspiracy Fury!! Hmm that is not too bad. But I would have gone for Fury McDermott II: Retribution Night had it been me promoting the fight. Because I am sure John McDermott wants retribution after what seemed in Frank Maloney's eyes a highway robbery (minus the mask). I think both Tyson Fury and McDermott will be really up for this fight, because for Fury he will have a point to prove to show that he can mix it at least British level and McDermott is seen as the gatekeeper to the top level heavyweight division, which seems to be looking very promising at domestic level, and will generate some good match ups in the next 2-3 years, and McDermott will probably see it as his last chance for the British title, because if loses I think it could be almost impossible for him to come back.

How do I see it ago. McDermott has got the experience in fighting Championship distance fights. Fury has got youth and the knockout power on his side. It is a good trade fight when you look at it and you can make strong cases for both of them. But on the night Fury will probably win it with a stoppage between rounds 5-7.

I think McDermott will win again. I wont hold my breath until Fury steps into the ring. Boxing has slowly turned me into a sceptic I’m afraid!

If McDermott is around 6/5. Would have a little punt on it.

fury was bang in trouble last time he cant box and only has size in his favour he's to gangley and for a big man i dont think he can hold a shot i think it will be the other way round mate McDermott in around 7 ??

Oh come on!! Fury sportingly offered the rematch after the first as he felt it was a bit of a questionable decision and Maloney accepted it.

Another website seems to think this is 12 rounds as its a final eliminator (which would be right) but if its for the English title, it should be 10 rounds as far as I am aware.

Anyone from FTM got the correct distance to avoid confusion in the run up.

Did the BBBoC not order this rematch? McD won the first 1 by 2 or 3 rounds in the eyes of almost everyone watching the fight. 9/4 seems too good to pass up, I'll put a few pounds on this I think.

My point was the at the fuss of the first decision has been blown out of proportion. Yes, it was a debatable decision, but it's become a bit of a circus.

Fury will wrap this up quickly, he's world class and has the power not even David Haye can compare with. JM is domestic class at best. Last time around was Tyson at his very worst and JM at his very best.

Fury is a future world champion and the heavyweight scene has not seen his like since his namesake. He's the most exciting prospect in the world and a future lb4lb and HoF boxer.

Fury's been sparring with top heavyweights in Germany who can not handle his power, speed, ring craft and boxing skills.

I really hope JM has been training hard for this.......
