Has he lost weight or has his missus just, as it looks, been to soccer worlkd to buy him some supsiciously looking new clobber in XXL to make him look thinnner. No one said Coke made you put weight on, did they?
Yes Hatton basked in former glories and was idolised for that. Now his credability is shot and he is nothing more than a sad junkie.
What an utter prick you are, and ill informed, so so ill informed.
Try not to rise to his bait. He's a W*rren employee, clearly with an anti-Hatton agenda and has basically become a troll.

Good to see him getting back to his normal self. His skin looks alot better aswell he just looked really unhealthy and bloated before the big News of the world story. Maybe some good will come from this sorry saga.

Perhaps this also gives him a second shot at being a role model, this time as someone who can demonstrate that it is possible to fall afoul of drink and drugs and come through the whole experience a better, stronger person.
Easier said than done though and I hope Ricky has got what it takes.

I respect Ricky for some glorious nights of British boxing.
In his short prime he was a terror and a reall buzzsaw of a fighter.
I think if he'd have fought Floyd at 140lb he could have really made a difference. Stylistically he was all wrong for Floyd, but moving up to 147lb, bigger gloves and so forth was forfeiting his small advantage.
With regards Pacquiao - when it was first mentioned, it was maybe though it would be a mismatch in Ricky's favour, given Pac was coming up in weight. Who was to know that Pacman would then go on to steam roll Cotto, Clottey etc and now jump in with Margarito on the spin ?
Ricky brought a massive amount of fans into the sport. For that everyone needs to be greatful - as Khan, Haye and Froch added together haven't got a fan base like Ricky - and thats on account of him doing the hard slog at dinners and functions every week before he was even British champion, and before he became a cliché of himself with the stand-up comedy, he was good at it.

Jennifer is a very nice looking young woman - looks like Melanie Sykes - what was Ricky looking at Joe Bugner in drag for? Surely that can't be blamed on the coke?

Ricky dabbled in drugs, so what? I would assume (maybe wrongly) that the majority of posters have experimented in a substance of some form. I personally don't care what a public figure does in his private life. I would be much more disgusted if he was caught taking performance enhancing drugs to gain an advantage in the sport. He is a nice guy, has a good stable of fighters and hopefully he can keep putting on good quality cards he has been in the past year or so.

Carlos - re these little quirks in life, I'm always amused to think of Paul Newman's famous explanation of how he resisted turning into a womaniser and had a successful (apparently monogamous though hard to believe in Hollywood) marriage.
'Why go out for a burger when you've got steak at home?'
My answer would be 'Aye, but don't you just fancy a greasy, nasty kebab every now and then?'

Aye - but there is kebabs from the local Turkish cafe and kebab mystery meat on a barmcake drenched in chilli sauce from the back of a transit van at 2am - Whatsername is surely the latter kebab!

good one!
people are hypocrites, i've never touched coke in my life but if I had achieved my ambitions an had millions in the bank and was doing appearances etc... having a laugh and meeting all kinds of people, including clingers on, on a regular enough basis, I might be tempted to try something, but I'm not.....so I haven't....fact is unless you're in his shoes you don't know what you might or might not do.
I wouldn't buy a chihuahua though even if I was coked up to my eyeballs and they were giving em away.

Let's look at the facts ;
Ricky was a good fighter at his peak, not great and certainly not elite or even near.
His best win was against an old shot kosta. Since that fight he fought horribly, one punch / clinch, ref breaks it, one punch clinch. - his last 4/5 fights have been awful and was seconds away from being knocked out by collazo. Apart from the kd collazo dominated him.
At elite level he was destroyed by PAC and floyd.
Between fights when he was at his peak he was putting on more than 3.5 stone and being a lager / pie man. His trainers told him this ruining his health and his ability to fight but still he ignores it. Now he is a coke head, lager lout and is snagging round behind his birds back.
The man is a Chav, and a walking mess. He needs to sort his act out and stop saying I'm rocky from a council estate etc etc.
To summarise a good fighter at his peak, not elite and under just under world. As a man he is a mess and needs to take a look at himself.

I think thats an extreme way to look at it, Mike Tyson is still considered by many a hero and look at the stuff he's done.
I should imagine a fair few of us on here have had the odd snort now and again doesnt make us junkies.
We all know how hard it is for boxers to give up the game and ending such a great high flying career with a crash like hatton did is bound to take some getting over, involving some very low points.
It looks like he's tried to sort it out, most will forgive him and look forward to more of the great promoting job he's doing.
Im yet to watch a crap hatton show!!!
Then of course some people just like to watch people crash and burn then stick the boot in.
