I think Macklin is very overrated and Paul, I feel, can take him on.
Barker? Good fighter, maybe a little too smooth.
Good luck Paul.

Great move in my eyes, he always looked a bit small for super middle. Another good guy in the mix. I know some people dont rate smigga but I like the guy and think he can really move on at Middle.

Paul still has a real future. He was a good British champion who dropped his belt to a former Olympic champion - hardly Jeff Lacy stuff.

This moving up and down in weight makes me laugh,so firstly he's not as successful as he would of liked at middleweight so he moves upto 168 where he wins the british title but then proceeds to get a whooping off degale and moves back down to 160

Why does it make you laugh? if he's able to comfortably switch weights, then why not do it?

I agree it would be a very good fight indeed however Murray is a Hatton fighter now - so with Smith being with W arren a tadge difficult to make.

I don't know why its been one of THE domestic fights I've always wanted to see - Smigga vs Barker.
He'll be strong at 160 I think, I think this could be the making of him. Hopefully, the power that was hyped up so much on the contender will return - cause one of the things that dissapointed me with the British title reign was his inability to make much of a dent on Quigley and Dodson - two fighters who have been hurt and put down in the past.
I don't think his inabilty to stop fighters was down to weight issues, I think he's just one of those fighters who can't reproduce his gym form in the ring. Whether that's through tensing/stiffening up too much, I don't know, but enough people have vouched for his power in sparring for it not to be a myth.
Sparx measured punching power on The Contender and I think Smith punched the hardest. Can anyone confirm or correct?

Barker is the best of the bunch....
Smigga vs Murray would be a good fight, I'd fancy Murray to win that in a war
Noticed Smigga was sat next to Stevie G at the Liverpool match last night, and what a bloody awful match it was..

If Smith can keep his enthusiasm with the game - he could do very well. Maybe not at world level. But British and european level for sure.

Thanks Diggler. I think that was impressive, beating Bika and Codrington for punching power.
