Very good article Ian, nice intro to it with the "What on earth was Big bad John doing at Buck House?" line
He's an interesting character, I remember a profile with him and he was painting water colours at the time.

Great talent, and very fit, but he'll eventually go down as someone who underachieved, primarily down to the fact he loves eating his own weight in pancakes.... daily.
