I think a 6 monthly meet would be a cracking idea. It's finding the right fight the right venue and everyone being able to get there, pay for tickets etc.
I might head up to Sheffield for the Woods fight, anyone planning on going there?

Bennie, the lack of avatars etc is a bonus. I'm hear to read boxing opinion and fact, not look at pictures of porn stars.....(which most of them seem to be)
I wouldn't say Boxrec is particularly "glossy" to the eye, but then does it have to be? All seems fine to me. The structure is right and thats the most important thing I reckon.
Good post. I used to like posting boxing pics in my avatar, which is the only reason I miss having one. But, yes, most avatars are just tacky.

I'll be there, driving up from London and I might stay the night.
Any others going.

If I go, I might just take you up on that, depend on whether or not my mate is gonna be around. It's a fornicate of a long way for a bloody round trip.
Remind me nearer the time, I've got a memory like a sieve

What about an annual or 6 monthly meet up (at one of the shows or a drink or something like that).
Putting faces to names might give posting a bit more of an edge?
What do you guys think?
Good idea, I'd be up for that. Have to keep an eye on bennie though, he hits the whiskey hard!

Pinner is nice too the BRB in the High Street has got some lovely women in there. Though the George is a bit of a dive.

My remark was concerning a recent thread about the greatest ten fighters in the classic weight divisions. It was just a lapse.

Stu, I have only just noticed this extremely serious error on your part, which I'm afraid has all the hallmarks of
serious drug use.
I have had to make a note of it in my
Moderator's Report ,which I submit weekly to Bennie.
He is currently montoring the situation closely. Any other errors of this magnitude and a ban of two weeks may be enforced, or maybe a fine at the very least
