Opponents normally had to beat the fight out of him, but he couldn't wait to get tossed up & fly back to England to spend his money.

Because he was 'the gifted one'
It is crazy when you think what happened when Lloyd Honeyghan a few years later beat Donald Curry - complete opposite, capitalized big time and made a fortune, with in my opinion less talent than Laing.
