Fury's next opponent?
Re: Fury's next opponent?
Tommy Tolan's slimmed down to middleweight! You would be a brutal matchmaker Crease

Not exactly proof of a suspect chin. Cammarelle is a decent and very accurate puncher. Stiverne's a massive puncher, who I think also had Price on the canvas. Cammarelle is staying amateur.carlbcfc wrote:Proof of Price's suspect chin.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhWiAuxj-AE

Cammarelle made Price look like an amateur (pun intended).

Got a little carried away looking from the "Belfast interest" angle.
Re: Fury's next opponent?
Yeah I knew about that one and Stiverne but I don't think those two alone are proof of a terrible chin. I was just wondering how often he'd been down in the ams overall.carlbcfc wrote:Proof of Price's suspect chin.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhWiAuxj-AE

I know, but being tagged a few times in only 2 rounds is sign of something. As somebody said, when he meets a puncher like Cammarelle he is fecked !!
Why won't Cammarelle turn over?
Why won't Cammarelle turn over?
Re: Fury's next opponent?
Someone on another forum (Italian bloke) said part of the reason is that Italian amateurs get looked after pretty well by the government where as pros get paid feck all. And the amateurs are big stars in Italy to boot. If he wins another gold in 2012 he'll be a legend in his home country.carlbcfc wrote:I know, but being tagged a few times in only 2 rounds is sign of something. Obviously you could argue by turning pro he has the opportunity at far greater wealth and global stardom but it does involve getting punched by a Klitschko.

They will be playing up the fact Firtha lost on points to Povetkin. His last victory(points) however was against a guy who started his career at Welterweight!
Going by his record he seems durable so may give Tyson some rounds but I'd rather have seen Rogie in there.
