Phil,

What sort of a gym is it ?

Is it multi purpose ? Cos you mention that it's mainly for body builders and yet it has bags and a ring ?

Do you reckon it would be better for you to be around other Boxrers in a gym soley dedicated for the needs of Fighters ?

Also, on a funny note, your trainer smokes, your missus hides and loves junk food and there is an eating place in that gym !

http://www.monstergym

The upstairs of the gym is like a purpose built boxing gym better than most amateur gyms.
Downstairs everything a meathead could want.

Would be great to be around more pro boxers but in our stable we have two lads making there debuts soon Joe Smyth, Eder Kurti, Wayne Alwayne, Danny Murphy (been out with broken ribs for a long time) Brad Watson. We go for sparring as much as we can but I work full time as you see and these pro gyms all operate during the day so docent work for me. I have to fit it in where I can.

I do feel than in an ideal world id love to be amongst tough fighters in a hardcore boxing gym but they don't have the strength and conditions faciltys or valuable knowledge that I have easily available. We get by but I do hate it when its just me and my trainer in the gym and some Tit head butting the bag in the corner of the gym cause he thinks it looks hard, Then there is the 20stone meat head destroying the smallest bag in the gym clever fuckers.

Wonder if Ringside will do a segment on you after this initiative Phil, I can imagine you getting an interview about it because it seems to be the only boxing vlog out there.

In all seriousness Phil, i think it will work in your favour eventually, because people will support you mate. On a personal level, a few days ago Phil Gill meant nothing to me, but now, when you fight again i will definately be wanting you to win and if you times that by say 100 people, then it's not too bad really.

I all seriousness Phil, before you started the blog your name meant nothing to me at all, but i know when you get to fight i will be wanting you to win and if you times that by even 100 people, you have created more of an audience an following. If you are succesfull in say getting to a British title shot, then the blogs will become busy with viewers.

Wouldn't work at all mate, they would just say "Who the fornicate are you........."

Maybe if you had 5000 hits a day or something, but for now you will have to happy enough making them for us bored people on Boxrec.

Remember, all journeys start with a step !! Or in your case, a lesson on Brocolli and Chicken 8)
