Sounds like one of my old 'back in the day' clubbing venues was it previously called the Sanctuary? (or the Q-club?)

Yeh it was the sanctuary the q club is round by the law courts very simler but totally run down now.

What do you mean by ABC ? Are you trying to be funny ? Nasser fought no 6 world ranked, Emanuele Della Rosa in Italy for the WBC International title and was robbed after putting in a great performance, if you like, go on google and watch the fight.

I wasnt trying to be funny, I was merely asking what governing body Nasser is world ranked with. I know he put in a decent performance in Italy (from what I have read - not seen the fight) when as we all know normally you'd need a KO to get a draw over there!
When referring to ABC, I was collectively referring to all the bodies - chill out!

Already chilled mate, just that there are some piss takers on the forums. Ok, he was ranked 40th with the WBC in the welter division, but now is ranked 41 because he has not fought since, but awaiting a shot at a major title, then he will move up

I know there is pal (a lot of piss takers). The reason I asked was because I knew it would have been the WBC but wasn't there.
I know there rankings can also take a while to be updated on their sites (WBA in particular)

I think they want Nasser to fight at welter, but we can't seem to get a fight at the weight.

Yep the Sanctuary formerly the Institute I think, the que club was a great venue, shame to hear it's run down.
Sounds like a good night , I'm going to drive up for this.

Good venue for boxing there used to be many a great show at the Civic back in the day. It will be good to see some small hall boxing back in Bham and full respect to the promoters for giving it an outlet. Maybe some of these lads may be able to build a fan base and keep bringing the shows back again and again. Robinson was a very strong amateur and should be interesting to watch as a pro, Langford top level amateur and should be a good prospect to watch over the next few months also. Well done to all involved lets hope it is a success and the shape of things to come for the Bham boxing scene.
