If it's on November 24th, I'm kind of screwed. I wanted to watch the Premier League Snooker finals on that day in the local sports bar. If Ricky Hatton is making a comeback, it's likely to be full of boxing fans watching that.. I guess I can book a telly up for the snooker, then keep my eye on Ricky Hatton.

Boxrec are showing Quigg v Munroe II is scheduled for Nov 24th too.

If Hatton is coming back I expect it will be a non-dangerous "name" to be used as a tune up ahead of an Amir Khan fight in March next year.

He could most certainly fight him after a full training camp - However, Malignaggi is lined up to fight Pablo Cesar Cano so he wouldn't be fighting Hatton anytime in 2012 anyway

I don't think he would jump straight back in at title level anyway he would at least need 1 or 2 "warm up" fights to shack off the old ring rust as they say

Malignaggi only has 2 fights a year so hardly the most active fighter to be honest.

Ricky Hatton whipes the floor with Malignaggi any day of the week - even off the back of a 10-12 week camp only

Paulie is still operating at world level and I would fancy him on points. Maybe Mallignaggi in two fights time……Unless of course Ricky has owned his brother in sparring over 15 rounds, and the LM weight (God knows his name) who stopped Ryan Rhodes .

Fair point, surely Ricky won't come back unless he has been looking sharp in sparring? If he has been hitting the heavy bag a few times and hears the rocky sound track in the background and makes his decision on that then it could be another early night for him!
