Michael, Michael,
Not a very grown up response.
In fact a little like your boxing - predictable.
For the record I have never said anything about the Molitor fight (he isn't a MONITOR).
My gripe with you was onefold - your slagging of Ingle boxers.
Typically when brought to task you can only turn to insults.
Sad.

Re: Kell Brook
Wonder if Hearn will try get Alexander over now for the title shot. By the sounds of it the Alexander-Bailey fight was an absolute shocker. Alexander has a tendency to put on really shit performances.
Re: Kell Brook
I dont think its always alexanders fault his fights have been boring; baileys pretty boring anyway apart from the ko's, however alexander does have a tendency to stay out of range and flick out a jab which doesnt have a chance of connecting with his opponent. It would be a good name to not only get kel a belt but the recognition in the US.ShadrachSimmo wrote:Wonder if Hearn will try get Alexander over now for the title shot. Re: Kell Brook
Brook opponent was rubbish anyone in the top 20 welterweights in this country would have beaten him. Hopefully he can home advantage against Alexander
Re: Kell Brook
Absolutely right, Joe. I remember thinking as Brook landed that uppercut, "Blimey, this lad's absolutely made for Young Mutley."Glass Joe wrote:Brook opponent was rubbish anyone in the top 20 welterweights in this country would have beaten him.
Re: Kell Brook

Re: Kell Brook
Can't see Brook vs Alexander happening tbh. Can't see Alexander coming here and surely if Brook went to the states Golden boy would want some sort of deal on winners next few fights. Hearn already struggling to fill sky dates with stable he can Ill afford 1 of his star fighters fighting elsewhere.

Broomy,
You're not suggesting that the Promotor's needs take precedent over the boxer's career are you ?
Perish the thought.
They always act in the best interests of the boxer.

Well, he is 'one of the best offensive fighters in the world'jessi wrote:Khan will smash him
If Rachid Drilzane (a man with zero ko's) the shell of Michael Gomez, Willie Limond can chin him - and Prescott and Garcia can blow him away - then I've no doubt a 147lb Kell Brook in last night's condition, would having him sacking his coach and heading 'back 'te drawin bord' in no time at all.
(Sorry Jessi)
Re: Kell Brook
Apart from Garcia and Prescott he took good shots and got up to win, khan gets hit badly because he chooses to trade, his still young and still learning, who has brook really beat ?G0mez wrote:Well, he is 'one of the best offensive fighters in the world'jessi wrote:Khan will smash him

He would be dazed by the very first onslaught by khan, his speed is in a different league !
Stick brook in with alexander and let's see what his really made of, but if the khan fight happened early next year I believe khan would dance around him !
Re: Kell Brook
Aye, he might. But he should have danced round lots of fellas and, for reasons best known to himself, chose not to.jessi wrote:if the khan fight happened early next year I believe khan would dance around him !
I'd fancy Khan if he boxed to his potential but if he started being daft again, as he often is, Brook would bat him like sixmens.
Re: Kell Brook
if Khan vs Brook did take place, where do you think it would be held?
Re: Kell Brook
I agree he should of danced around alot of fellas too, but isn't that why his so exciting to watch ? Both brook and khan have proved they have alot of heart, and the two ko's khan has been on the end of would of knocked anyone out ! I know he shouldn't of been in the position he was in to get ko'd in the first place but he is still only 25 and learning, of course he has to box clever from now onwards and we won't know that until the situation of a war arises next, but as much as I like brook he is still a novice on the world scene until he proves me wrong I'm going to side with khan ! It won't happen untill khan goes to 147 anyway, Eddie may talk about a big show between them next summer but who knows ? It might take a year or two yet.dondada wrote:Aye, he might.
