I haven't spoken to Frankie recently, given that he is on holiday with his kid but I'm sure he will announce an opponent very soon.
Gazman81, From what I saw, I think someone from his team said it was not Al harbi but his fans who run the site, I think you left that bit out, judging by the amount of people who want him to fight Gavin across the internet, I think they are doing a good job.

I agree its a punt but the odds would make me put my hand in my pocket.
Two reasons - styles make fights, and Maxwell would be HUGE at the weight, whereas I truly believe Gavin should be a LW.

Max would be huge at Welter ? Not so sure, i think he would be hugely dehydrated, no way he can perform at 10st 7lb safely IMO. I like Max he's a tough lad and always gives it his all, but would get picked off and out boxed easily. Frankie is filling out nicely into Welter, he was 10st 6lb for the weigh in for the Witter fight and was ripped, NO WAY Was there another 6lb on him to lose healthily to make Light-Welter. Frankie phoned me from holiday yesterday and I know who he's fighting, it will be a good fight while it lasts. The kid again is tough and game and probably deserves his chance the way he has been fighting recently, too soon IMO because he is very one dimensional and very limited experience wise and ability. I think he will take a lot of punishment on his way in, it's a decent first defence for him and Midlands Boxing IMO and should be another stoppage on his record.

Always thought he was a seriously big LM when he sparred Ryan.
Yeh he was 10.12 for the Rose fight and had a breakfast.Hes never pushed himself to the limit making weight because he does light middle so well.It wouldnt be easy but confident he could.

Rick Godding well overdue a shot at a title. Far better than most of the names put forward on this thread.

It's Jason Welborne for sure, Frankie is defending in January, Welborne fighting end November, perfect match.
