Lewis didn't give up the belt for not fighting Tua. He just took a couple of voluntary fights before his mandatory.

I'm not glossing over anything. I was talking about Bowe's refusal to take on Lewis at the time he threw the belt in the trash. On that occasion he was a gutless coward. When he fought Holyfield and got dominated by Golota, he was indeed the warrior you speak of.

Bowe was also a gutless coward when he assaulted two wives. Oh and lets not forget the kidnapping of his children. Classy guy. A real 'warrior' when he forced his wife and children into a car by threatening them with pepper spray.

i did hear that bowe was fighting on a unlicenced show over here later in the year not sure how true this is as i don't think any promoter would put the money up ?

He was always a strange bloke, incredibly gifted as a boxer but clearly a case of "the lights are on but nobody is home" what was it 3 days until he quit the Marines because he couldn't hack it? Nut job, such a shame.
