Any ideas how to Sky+ the red button show.... usually if you record the preceeding programme an option comes up to record the boxing.... cannot find this option when searching.

Moscow is 3 hours ahead of us, if the main event goes ahead at around half ten local time, the Sky presenters have a long time on screen to keep quiet !

For channel switchers, it should be possible to tune into BN for the main event at roughly half seven, and then revert back to sky at twenty five to eight.

I really hope Povetkin does it - I will literally jump for joy if he pulls it off - and my first thoughts will be about the clever git on Boxrec who's nailed his colours to the mast over this one

It might not be a total mission impossible for him. I am of the view that Wlad's opposition has mainly been crap, and that many of them haven't turned up to win. However, he has turned it on when he's been in against better opponents. He's still the same guy as before though and a good smack on the chops from Povetkin and he'll be all over the place. His entire style is based on not being hit, and using his height and reach to that effect. When he turns sideways on to his opponent, and when he sticks out the jab and leaves it there to just block the space the opponent would need to come forward, I could honestly pull out a gun and shoot him. Through the television, I mean. Its boxing Wlad, not fooking jousting.

Did I read that right about Chisora going into Klitschko's dressing room before the fight to monitor hand wraps?! Can't see Wlad and co agreeing to that. Could see it kicking it off with Del lurking about.

I read that somewhere too. I can see why Delboy would want to do it, and I can see why Povetkin's team would want it too - anything to wind up the Klitschko's beforehand would be welcome.

Its a long, long way to go for Delboy so he might as well try to have some fun DD

The Povetkin/Wlad show on allegedly is scheduled to start at 8pm on both the website and tv guide. Is that tosh? Seems mega late considering it'll be 11pm in Moscow by then.

Maybe they're just going straight into the main event... or it's on time delay or something?

I've read Bunce has been tweeting that the start time on the EPG is wrong and the program actually starts much earlier, with the main event at around half eight. I think anyone tuning in at 11pm UK time will be watching a rerun program.

Its a big well done to Ed after the show has gone off the air and the promise has been kept. If Povetkin causes a sensation I would expect a pundit to say something.

I know. I'm greedy though, and the Russian show's undercard is crap. Its a shame some of that $23m wasn't invested in a better undercard. Why watch a load of east european unknowns and chagaev vs pudar when you can watch luke campbell, anthony joshua, selby, quigg, and mitchell ?
