ok, so I've thought about it and many options ran through my mind but I've come to the decision that Bivins will give up the WBO title to once again face Gibbons. The first fight was close and the second fight Bivins was ahead on the scorecards before being stopped by the doctor because of cuts, and I believe he can win. There is a stipulation that I've discussed with Buzz, in which Maxie Rosenbloom will fight immediately for the vacated title and I've requested Harold Johnson(who just had a good win) as the opponent.

Sounds like your price for offering up one of your titles to become open would be to have Maxie Rosenbloom be involved in the next WBO event. I like smoky back room deals so I would be inclined to say yes.
Perhaps we could further compromise by making it mandatory that from this point on, that no one can jettison a title so either Bivins or Gibbons agrees to hold on to them come what may and proceed with looser unification rules. Adding the WBO at some point toward full unification.
I'm open to that if we hear no dissent, and since the MDT does limit some options right now.
If we don't hear from Crease in the next few hours, or any managers calling foul I may just clumsily move ahead and hope we don't ruffle any feathers with these variants.
On the other hand, if anyone feels FOL and Goldenbuzz are attempting to heist the SimBoxing world chime in and call us on on it. lol

The Sim Boxing Rules committee was convened to discuss this matter and they have struck down your demand. They also are launching a full scale investigation into the actions and activities associated with the MDT. Apparently there has been serious allegations of fraud and payoffs within this tournament. Let's hope said investigation uncovers nothing "unseemly".

We would like to go on record with the following statement.
"Thus far we have not received enough in the way of payoffs or bribes, to be overly concerning to the simboxing public."
We hope this alleviates any suspicions of any possible wrongdoing on our part.

The only way that a
Gibbons vs Bivins fight can work is if one of them drop both of their World Titles to fight for the other guys two Titles.
A unification is not possible this week... And this key ruling/tradition should be maintained at all costs.

Bingo.

Nope a Unification can't happen this week.

If we operate in non controversial fashion we could go with that idea, as it breaks no rules.
I actually think that this "
Rocky idea" is an exceptional concept - I am all for this idea for this week.

I just want to state that Joey Maxim (who is currently ranked in the Top 15) would happily play the role of Rocky against either Bivins or Gibbons if either man was willing to give him a shot.
Joey Maxim wouldn't mind at all to sidestep his bout with Beibut Shumenov if either Champion is willing to face him. Otherwise, he will proceed as planned and keep fighting to earn his shot.

Let's get a few things straight here gentlemen.
To Mr Fist Of Legend note 1:
If you want to fight BoxBuzz this week for his three belts then you will have to relinquish your
WBC and
WBO Titles. It is a risky strategy because regardless of the results you will lose your titles. Keep that on your mind whilst deciding your course of action this week.
Fist of Legend wrote:There is a stipulation that I've discussed with Buzz, in which Maxie Rosenbloom will fight immediately for the vacated title and I've requested Harold Johnson(who just had a good win) as the opponent.
To Mr Fist Of Legend note 2:
Unfortunately your position (as a Manager) does not qualify you make title decisions or stipulations for others to cotend with.
To Mr BoxBuzz:
It is poor form to make sketchy deals before fights have even be fought... Immediate rematches are one thing -
but to promise Managers favours is just bang out of order. I have to block this idea right away.
And I must say that I am disappointed in you Buzzster, I thought that you had seen the light and turned over a new leaf.

The way that I see it is this, there is only one feasible solution... If a Gibbons vs Bivins fight does happen this week, (probably for Bivins WBC and WBO Titles - because I can't see Buzz compromising his own belts)
Then, the top 4 ranked fighters who are elligible for the two vacated title will fight for them next week.
To my mind, that is the only way that this works.
Upon looking at this weeks title rankings:
2 Charles
3 Spinks
4 Langford
6 Tunney
7 Moore
8 Loughran
9 Patterson
10 Fitzsimmons
11 Rosenbloom
So the top four guys who do not lose this week will be in for the vacated titles. And that is how this will work.

Well gentlemen you are well within your rights to challenge the World Champions... And I praise your daring spirits!!!
Sometimes in the past I have thought that Managers are too willing to settle for less - such as the odd IBO Title or finishing in the top 20 - and by doing that they take their eyes of the four big prizes that are up for grabs EVERY week.
It makes a nice change in my eyes.

Great, I keep beatin' around the bush, instead of just runnin' away with it, and stodgy Crease comes back and starts to talk about "rules".
Ok...well make yourself useful, put the card together so that I can run this thing.
I suppose if I go back and read, I can find out what the "crease approved" choices will be.
Another dance with Hopkins? Oh well.... why not.

Crease dares to tell champions what to do. It's a disgrace.
But that's what happens when you hesitate within the sim.....it was delaying until he got back that is causing all this "sassin' the champions" stuff.
Ok...Well lets see....
Gibbons is open to:
Maxim
Rosenbloom
Greb
Crease can you put their names in a hat...and I'll trust that you picked one from sheer luck.
Oops make that Maxim or Greb....as Rosenbloom is going to be the challenger for the Bivins belts.
This is actually NOT against any rules. And yet....it has the smell of a back room deal, because a cagey manager made the decision...and no commish could squash it.
So...Crease make the Lonsdale Call.....Bivins vs Rosenbloom was called in PM to me.
It's all good. Let's move forward!

Seeing as a Charles vs Bivins could not be agreed in the few days timeframe that BoxBuzz and Fist O f Legend had - both Champions will face the first challengers to call them out:

Upon further thought Maxim is willing to accept Stribling getting the shot at Gibbons over him under one condition. He wants to be the Mandatory challenger of the Gibbons/Stribling fight...provided he beats Shumenov of course.
If he fails to beat Shumenov, he will of course lose his right to challenge for any title, but if he wins he feels it's only fair he gets his shot at Glory.

Your protest is noted. You certainly have a valid point there, but if you recall, the elligiblity rules have been relaxed for the duration of the Million Dollar Tournament.
But in fairness, Old Stribling did issue the challenge before you.
